October Beauty Favourites + Empties

Wow, life hey? I feel like all of my posts have such a negative vibe these days. I used to be someone with a positive outlook, always seeing the best in things, and always being grateful for everything, but recently everything seems so grim. I guess life hasn’t worked out the way I expected it to, and that is truly bringing me down. Anyway, I am hoping to get back into posting, and hopefully that will bring me some joy, and some distraction too. So, let’s get started with my October Beauty Favourites.

October Beauty FAvourites

The *Crabtree & Evelyn Memories Made Candle is so so good! The scent is beautiful and floral, it burns really well, and doesn’t pool. One of my other favourite things about this product is that even when it isn’t lit, or when you blow out the wick, the scent remains. Also, if you are looking for a Christmas Gift for someone, this is an excellent option!

I love a good barrier cream, especially after my facial treatments at Skin Renewal Bedfordview. I bought the Filorga Universal Repair Care, and I cannot get enough. It isn’t as thick as others I have tried, but still soothes and calms the skin without leaving it looking and feeling greasy.

I received the *Filorga Flash-Nude Fluid in Nude Beige a while ago, and at first I thought it would be too light for me, but it works so well. The coverage is light, but buildable, and most of all breathable. I love that it also offers good sun protection of SPF 30. I see myself using this a lot during this Summer season.

MAC Whirl, what a stunning nude lipstick! It is comfortable and long lasting and just the perfect nude shade!

Lastly, the L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper is the best brow gel I have ever tried. It makes my brows look fuller, and even makes the sparse patches look filled in, while still looking natural.

And now for some Empties:

Skin PhD Mild Foaming Cleanser– I really love how effective but gentle this cleanser is, I would definitely repurchase this.

Mixa Intense Repair Body Cream– This cream is amazing! I would definitely repurchase, I love how affordable it is too.

Skin Republic Foot Peel- I love doing a foot peel every now and again. This really works, and after a week my feet started peeling to reveal soft skin. I buy these once every few months.

Lush Damaged Hot Oil Treatment– This treatment did wonders for my hair, and I will definitely repurchase this.

Vichy Dercos Ultra Soothing Shampoo– Although this wasn’t as hydrating as the dry hair version, it still worked well at soothing my scalp. I won’t repurchase this one, but the dry hair one for sure.

Aroma Sensation Sage & Sea Salt Candle– I have already bought five more of these, they are just so amazing!

Pure Beginnings Eco Roll On– My sensitive underarms definitely did benefit from this, I would like to try the other scents though.
