Lush Naked Products Review

Whenever I walked into a Lush Store I was so overwhelmed by the number of products and their gorgeous scents, that I always ended up leaving with nothing. So, when I was sent this bunch of goodies, I took my time to actually enjoy each and every one of them, and I was in heaven! So, now when I go into a store I know exactly what I like, and it doesn’t feel as overwhelming as it did before. Also, the assistants are really helpful, if you give them an idea of what you want and what scents you like, they will point you in the right direction.

The Lush Naked Product Range uses minimal packaging to reduce waste and be kinder to the environment, so you won’t find any plastic, but instead the products come wrapped in a paper bag. I use the empty paper bags between my clothes in my cupboard and it keeps everything smelling fresh and amazing. Lush also sells reusable tins, which keeps your Naked Products fresh between use.

I can’t say enough how much I love the Soak and Float Shampoo Bar! The scent is is the best thing, I cannot cannot get enough! It lathers really well, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive scalp, which is a miracle. My hair feels soft and clean after use, and this is one I will definitely repurchase. I can’t believe it took me so long to try a shampoo bar!

The Sugar Daddy-O Solid Conditioner works well on my ends to leave my hair feeling soft, but I do think the Soak and Float leaves my hair softer. I love how easy it is to use, and it is so convenient for travelling too.

I love using the Damaged Hot Oil Treatment. You stir it into boiling water, as you would Belgian Hot Chocolate. It looks like custard in a mug, and all I wanted to do is drink it! It did a stellar job on my hair, it was softer and much more manageable, and smelt amazing! Even though my hair is quite long and thick, I had quite a bit leftover, which I put in a bottle and used as a conditioner on three occasions.

The Buffy Body Butter Scrub is the perfect shower companion, exfoliating and hydrating in one go. It is massaged onto wet skin and contains shea butter to hydrate and ground rice and almonds to exfoliate. This is perfect for winter, and those rushed mornings!

I currently smell glorious thanks to Tender is the Night, a solid body moisturiser/massage bar. It has a stunning floral scent, and the jasmine definitely comes through. It melts nicely into the skin leaving it feeling soft and silky. It absorbs well and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. Just one word of caution, if you have dogs, they will literally want to eat you after you use this, yip, it is that good!

I was also sent a few skincare products to try out.

I am a huge fan of balm cleansers, so the Ultrabland Cleanser is right up my alley. It is so gentle on the skin, but still removes makeup and dirt so well. This is one of their bestsellers for good reason! I use this as a first cleanse, massaged into dry skin, and then remove with a warm cloth. I have used this after microneedling and chemical peels, and it doesn’t irritate my skin at all, instead it soothes and nourishes.

I love a good face mist, especially one that hydrates and soothes, so Eau Roma is just what my skin needs! It has a calming scent, and can be used as a refreshing mist, or as a toner after cleansing. I prefer to use it as a mist as I love the scent and how it refreshes my skin.

Lastly I have Skin’s Shangri La. A rich, nourishing face cream for dry skin. This is a bit rich for me to use every day, but I have been enjoying this twice a week at night as a treat for my skin. It has an extremely luxurious feel, and makes my skin happy!
