My latest Christmas Gift Guide is the ultimate luxury edit! I love a little spoil, and these luxury picks would be such a treat to give or receive.
There is something so special about unique luxury fragrances that no other mainstream fragrance house can beat, in my opinion.
First up I have Aegea Blossom from Aerin. Aerin fragrances are amazing, the packaging, the scents, I can’t get enough. This is my third scent fom Aerin, and it does not disappoint. It is a citrusy fresh, floral scent with a slight musky/powdery base. With notes of Bergamot, Jasmine and Orange Flower it is floral without being overpowering but still has long staying power.
Next I have Eau Des Sens from Diptyque, a more sensual citrus scent with notes of Orange Blossom and Patchouli. Diptyque is the epitome of luxury, and whether candles or perfume, you won’t go wrong with a gift from this brand.
My final fragrance pick has to be from Jo Malone, I am such a fan of this brand. This Rose & Magnolia Cologne was actually one of my wedding gifts from my husband, but the reason I included it, is that is has been re-released this Christmas as a Limited Edition once again. So if you missed out last time, now is your chance. It is a beautiful white floral scent with notes of Magnolia, Rose and Amber, but what I love, is that it isn’t too floral and is actually quite grounded.
Did you expect a Christmas Gift Guide without a candle from Jo Malone, if you know me, then probably not! Here I have the Limited Edition English Pear & Freesia candle. This is one of my all-time favourite scents from Jo Malone, so I had to have this beautiful limited glass jar.
For hair and body I have two luxury picks that are a bit more on the affordable side.
The Christophe Robin Daily Hair Cream is a nourishing leave-in treatment that can be used on dry or damp hair. It is lightweight but conditioning and hydrating, leaving hair soft and manageable. I have used a couple of products from the brand, and I have loved them all, especially this and the Cleansing Purifying Scrub. There has not been one product that I wasn’t impressed by, and they all smell amazing.
The Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb & Rose Shower Gel is such a treat. It has a citrus floral scent that lingers on the skin without being overpowering. It leaves the skin clean, but soft and hydrated. There are a few gift sets from the brand with mini products that can be split up and given as stocking fillers, and you can keep some for yourself too!
Moving on to luxe makeup picks!
You can’t go wrong with a lipstick, and here I have a nude or bright option. The YSL Tatouage Couture Matte Stain in shade 23 is a beautiful nude shade that is comfortable but long lasting, and is is also mask proof! For a bolder look I have the Tom Ford Vermillionaire, a creamy lipstick in a deep orange shade. This lipstick is highly pigmented and smooth and lasts for quite a long time for a cream lipstick.
Next up I have the Givenchy Prisme Visage in Soie Apricot. This face powder is not your average face powder, it contains four shades that can be used individually or together to highlight, contour, correct and set your makeup. The powder is silky and smooth and doesn’t leave your skin looking flat and powdery. There are seven different palettes to choose from, and Soie Apricot is a medium-warm palette with a peach highlight.
Finally I have this beautiful blush! The Marc Jacobs Air Blush in Lines & Last Night is a medium coral shade that is quite subtle, but buildable. The blush has two shades, a soft peach shade that has a slight sheen to it, and a medium coral with a satin finish. The powder is light and silky soft, blends well and leaves skin with a beautiful luminous glow. It doesn’t emphasise pores or texture and lasts well on the skin.
