Christmas Gift Guide 2022- Affordable Home Fragrance Picks

I am back today to share an affordable Home Fragrance Gift Guide with you. I love a good diffuser and scented candle, but I especially love it when it it smells amazing and is affordable! Only one of the products mentioned in this post is over R300.

Home Fragrance Gift Guide

First, the Cape Island Mini Candle (R140) is such a treat, the packaging is beautiful, the scents are beautiful and they are hand poured in South Africa. Here I have Summer Vineyard and Safari Days, Summer Vineyard is my favourite scent, with notes of Neroli and Ylang-Ylang.

Next up, The Heritage Collection, this collection was born from a desire to share Africa’s deep and meaningful history with the world. Each collection features a traditional element that embodies a unique and distinct cultural identity. This would make a great gift for family members who live overseas, take a bit of Africa to them. Here I have the Painted Tradition Scented Candle (R230) and 100ml Diffuser (R250), both smell amazing and the diffuser scent fills the room really well. I bought a couple of different scents from this collection, and I think my favourite is Maluti Spiral.

MRP Home always has a great range of affordable home fragrance, and the ceramic flower diffuser in Spring Blossom (R150) comes beautifully packaged and would make a lovely gift. At first I didn’t think the scent would carry through, and I expected it to just be a gimmick, but it does actually work. I am not the biggest fan of the scent, but it does look so pretty displayed.

The next diffuser is an absolute beauty from Charlotte Rhys, Spring Flowers (R787) with notes of rose, ylang-ylang and orange blossom, is a winner! The scent fills the room, the packaging is sleek and the scent options are endless. I featured a candle in one of my previous posts and I was not too impressed, but this diffuser has made me change my mind. I definitely want to try more diffuser and candle scents from this proudly South African brand.

Yankee Candle have such a wide variety of scents, you are sure to find something for everyone. Wax melts are a great way to try a bunch of different scents, and if you pair it with a pretty burner you can make a beautiful gift set. Pink Sands and Fresh Cut Roses are two of my go-to scents, but I am enjoying the Sunset Breeze and Champaca Blossom Wax Melts. They burn for about 9 hours and the scent fills the room. They also have a cute little gift bag with a variety of these wax melts available.

I have some other gift guides planned, so I will hopefully be back soon!
