I received a few products from Argan Green a while back, and when I say a while, I mean a good few months, and I am finally ready to share my thoughts.
Firstly, I love that Argan Green is a South African company based in Cape Town. Secondly, I love that their products are derived from natural raw materials as much as possible. Lastly, I love that Argan Green has brought Argan Oil, a jewel of Morocco to us, at affordable prices.
The product I was most excited for was the Moroccan Black Soap, as I had heard about this wonder product, but had never tried it for myself. I didn’t really know how to use it, or how it would react on my face, but I am always up for trying new things. I applied it to damp skin, and massaged it in. I left it on for a few minutes and then rinsed it off. It gave my skin results similiar to a clay/brightening/exfoliating mask, without any tingling or dry feeling. I am really impressed by this little tub of goo!
I also used it on my body, but followed it with the Exfoliating Kessa Glove for an extra bit of exfoliation. I didn’t find the Glove very exfoliating by itself, but using both the Glove and the Black Soap together left my skin looking and feeling revived and smooth.
The Orange Blossom Body Butter is quite thick and takes a while to absorb, but it is the perfect winter hydrator for dry skin as it is so nourishing. It has a matte sort of feel, and isn’t greasy at all. I did expect a sweeter scent though, similiar to the Orange Blossom I am familiar with, ie Jo Malone and Nuxe.
Lastly, and one of my favourite products, is the Rose Mist Skin Toner. I am a big rose water fan, for soothing and hydrating the skin. I have been using this after cleansing and before moisturising, and it does everything I expect it to do. And the scent is lovely!
