August Beauty Favourites + Empties

I don’t think I have said this yet, and I definitely think it needs to be said: This year is flying past! I cannot believe we are in September. Soon enough it will be December, and then 2019, wow! Anyway, let’s get back on topic, my August Beauty Favourites, and Empties.

August Beauty Favourites

Oh my goodness, the *Lush Soak And Float Shampoo Bar smells amazing! I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. This was my first time trying a Shampoo Bar, and I love everything about this. The scent, how it lathers, how gentle it is on my sensitive scalp, and how soft it leaves my hair. This Shampoo Bar is part of the Naked Range from Lush, and comes wrapped in a paper bag. I love the scent so much that I now use the paper bag in my cupboard so that my pjs have the same scent!

The Aroma Sensation Scented Candle Range from MRP Home is amazing! They burn well, have some great scents, and are affordable. This Sage & Sea Salt one is my absolute favourite! It reminds me a bit of the Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt but has a softer, sweeter more feminine scent.

Next up I have the *Filorga UV Bronze Mist SPF 50, an aerosol with a fine mist to top up your sun protection without messing up your makeup. It gives skin a lovely bronze glow, hydrates and best of all smells absolutely heavenly!

The Makeup Forever Artist Rouge Creme Lipstick in C211 is the prettiest rosy mauve shade. The formula is creamy and silky, although not very long lasting. But I just love the shade and feel of this lipstick!

Lastly I have the *SVR Hydracid C50 Masque Eclat which I have already reviewed here. I love the cool mousse texture which you can see below. But most of all I love the visible difference it makes to my skin!

Moving onto some Empties:

*Garnier Ultimate Blends Delicate Soother Shampoo and Conditioner– I really like this Shampoo and Conditioner, it is a great budget buy for sensitive scalps.

*Pure Beginnings Revitalising Body Wash– I love the scent of this Body Wash, I definitely want to try more products from Pure Beginnings in this scent!

August Beauty Favourites

Catrice Highlighters- These aren’t technically empty, but they have dried up. Definitely wouldn’t purchase again.

NYX Micro Brow Pencil– I love this brow pencil, I will definitely repurchase this once I finish all of the others in my stash. It is more affordable than the Stila which is my favourite, and does as good a job.

*Billion Dollar Brows Universal- I like this brow pencil, but I don’t like how thick the nib is. Not one I would repurchase.

Love your favourites – definitely some I’d like to try in there, especially the Lush shampoo.
I really didn’t like anything about that BDB pencil – it smudged, it faded and I ended up binning it.
