Hi Ladies
Today I am sharing my April Beauty Favourites with you, and there are some real goodies!
I bought some products from Freedom Makeup earlier this year, and I have slowly but surely started using them. One of the products I was most excited about was this solid brush cleaner, I am so glad I bought this. You wet your brush, swirl it around on the cleanser and then wash normally. You can check out my post on How I Clean My Makeup Brushes.
Next up is the Lipidol Overnight Oil, this subtly sweet scented oil is amazing. I press a couple of drops into my face and I wake up with plump hydrated skin. I love that this oil isn’t greasy, sinks in almost immediately, and best of all it is so affordable!
I love peeling gels, and whenever I can I stock up on the best of the best from Asia. I have tried a couple including the Cure Aqua Gel and Oslee Rosehip Peeling Gel, and I love them, the only downfall is the availability in South Africa. Well, *Afriderm sent me this Peeling Gel a while ago, and I am pleased to announce it does the exact same job! Afriderm is formulated with dark skin tones in mind, but I think this peeling gel is pretty universal, I would buy it again, and at R99, what’s not to love?
I am loving the Exude Lip Creme in Pink No. 2. I rediscovered this recently after a while of neglecting it, and the sleek packaging, moisturising, creamy but pigmented lipstick is really impressing me all over again.
Stila Stay All Day Precision Glide Brow Pencil in Black is one of the best, if not the best eyebrow pencil I have tried. The pencil is so thin, and gives such light feathery strokes, that it looks so natural. Even though the pencil is black, I am really impressed by this.
MAC Patent Polish Lip Pencil in Teen Dream is a great bright orange chubby lip pencil that is highly pigmented and non-drying.
I bought this Beauty Cottage Forever Beauty Highlight and Bronzer overseas, and it is the cutest brand ever, and the products are so amazing! I bought three products and I love them all. This highlighter and bronzer is highly pigmented and offers the perfect contouring combo.
*Physicians Formula Dark Circle Corrector and Concealer in Light + Yellow is your 2 in 1 answer to under-eye circles. Use the yellow to colour correct, and the other side to conceal. I went searching for the orange/medium one, but it doesn’t seem to be available at Dischem, which is a real shame. I like that this is easy and convenient and covers dark circles really well. Remember to correct before foundation, and conceal after. Also, press your foundation over the corrector, don’t rub, else you will shift the colour all over your face.
I also stacked up quite a few empties this last month, so here goes:
It is not often that I completely finish a cleanser, but the Vichy Purifying Foaming Water Radiance Revealer is really great.
I honestly do not think there is a better dry hand saviour than The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector.
I really enjoyed using The Body Shop Vitamin C Facial Radiance Powder Mix for a glow boosting dose of Vitamin C.
My hair falls out like crazy, and I am often surprised that I don’t have any bald patches. I finished a bottle of Trichotin Hair Regenesis last month, and already my hair fall has decreased. It usually takes about 3 months to notice a significant difference, so I am keen to see the results. My skin is looking pretty good recently too, which is apparently a side-effect.
I love The Body Shop Peppermint Intensive Foot Rescue, it smells amazing and is really moisturising and nourishing. I would definitely repurchase this.
The Creightons Argan Body Shower Cream smells amazing. It is not the most moisturising shower cream, but it’s pretty nice.
What are you favourites?
In other news, Cadbury is giving away a P.S. Hamper and R5000 for Mother’s Day. Check out the Cadbury PS Facebook Page to enter.

Thank you for sharing your favourites. The Trichotin Hair Regenesis sounds interesting and then I have to agree with you on the Lipidol Overnight Oil. ?
Yip it’s really helped with my fallout. I love the scent and everything about the oil!
