Hi Ladies
It is time for March Favourites!
There were two body products that blew my mind this month!
The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector, which I also featured in my Winter Beauty Edit. Although the scent of this product is kinda gross to me, I really love how soft and hydrated it makes my hands feel. I use this every night before bed, and I even bought a backup, that’s how much I love it.
Palmer’s Raw Shea Body Lotion, which was on my wishlist, is a light but extremely hydrating moisturiser which smells amazing. It doesn’t have that typical Palmer’s scent, this one is more sophisticated, and I love it! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a new affordable body moisturiser.
Now onto skincare products:
The *Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque is amazing, it detoxifies and brightens without drying out the skin. It both physically and chemically exfoliates the skin without irritating it. It also assists with breakouts and sensitivity. This Masque is a true all rounder that is suitable for all skin types and assists with almost any skin concern under the sun, and the best part is that you can clearly see a difference in your skin after using it!
I am loving the *Nimue SPF 40, it has such a light creamy feeling, unlike any sunscreen I have ever tried. It isn’t greasy and it works perfectly under makeup. It blends so easily, and doesn’t sit on top of the skin which I find with most sunscreens. I am a bit sunscreen obsessed, and I must say this is the most comfortable feeling sunscreen I have ever worn.
Now onto some makeup products!
This Catrice Bronzer is amazing! It is so finely milled, has good pigmentation and blends so easily. At first I thought it might look a bit too orange and muddy, but it is actually perfect! If you are looking for an affordable bronzer, I think this is a great option.
I received this *Essence Mini Sheer Lipbalm a while ago, and I honestly didn’t have very high expectations, but this little chubby pencil proved me wrong. I am quite the fan of crayon type lip products, and this little one from Essence gives Revlon, Clinique and Tarte a run for their money. It is moisturising and pigmented, and I really can’t fault it at all!
One of the new releases from Maybelline is the *Master Ink Liquid Liner in Black Satin. This liquid liner is so so pigmented, I think Maybelline black eye products are probably the most pigmented ever. The brush of this liner is so easy to use and is the perfect size for lining your lid without getting messy, or having to go over the line a million times. It doesn’t flake or smudge and lasts forever.
The LA Girl Pro Conceal Orange Corrector is one of the more recent LA Girl Products to launch in SA, and I think it was one of the most sought after. I was lucky enough to find the orange and yellow correctors, and I am glad I did! The orange one disguises dark circles so so well. I use this before my foundation, and just apply a teeny tiny amount to the under eye area. I then press my foundation into my skin under my eye, making sure not to shift the colour around and follow with concealer. If you suffer from dark circles, this will be a life saver!
