Hi Ladies
It is time for my April Beauty Haul, and it is a long one! There were so many exciting releases from the Essence Velvet Sticks to the Catrice Highlighter and Primer to the LA Girl Setting Spray. Let’s jump right in, shall we?
First up I placed another order with Sephora using Aramex Global, which you can read more about in this post.
I also ordered from the Azetori Online Store for the first time. I have wanted the Nuxe Perfume forever, and I finally got my hands on it, with an added scented candle!
I found these two gorgeous products at Legit at such a bargain. How pretty!
My boyfriend and I went to Kamersvol and I found some awesome products. Some new brands that I had never heard of before and some brands that were already on my wishlist. Above is a brand called Mies that I had never heard of before. I bought a stunning Hand and Body Oil and a concentrated Jasmine Perfume.
I also got a chance to try out some Skin Creamery products, fell in love, and bought them all!
I also got to meet the amazing and knowledgeable Skoon team, and play around with all the products. I was given a sample of the Moisture Sip Serum and the Overnight Hydrating Mask. I took my mom to Kamersvol the next day and we bought the Moisture Sip Serum and the Overnight Hydrating Mask after trying them the night before, they are amazing!
I also picked up two beauty tools from Swiitch Beauty.
I also bought some Balm Balm products during their sale.
Now let’s move onto Clicks:
This new brand called Enjoy reminds me a lot of Bath and Body Works. And the Wild at Heart scent is pretty similiar to Bath and Body Works Forever Red Vanilla Rum. Since we don’t have Bath and Body Works in South Africa, this affordable brand will just have to do.
I also picked up the Sorbet Pillow Spray and L’Oreal Nutri Lift Gold Foundation.
Moving on to Dischem:
I bought quite a few of the New Essence Products. More details in this post.
The New Catrice Products are all sorts of amazing!
I also found these affordable makeup brushes from Urban Studio, which remind me a lot of the Real Techniques Duo Fibre Brushes.
I finally found the CALA sponges and the LA Girl Setting Spray. I am a bit disappointed with the size and price of the spray, R80 for 30ml is not an affodable option in my opinion. What do you ladies think?
I bought this cute egg holder to store my makeup sponges in. Once the sponges are dry I pop them in here and close the lid to protect them from dust. So easy, convenient and cheap!
Lastly I finally found the LA Glide Gel Liner in Black, which has been on my Wishlist for a while. I was also really impressed by these Palladio Velvet Matte Lipsticks when I tested them in store, so I bought three of them.
Share your haul with me in the comments below!
I agree with Sophia – where did you buy the egg tray holder?
I enjoy hauls. Nice and interesting products. 🙂
Please review the Cala sponges.
They puff up really nicely and blend well. But the tip isn’t as pointy as I would like, so it doesn’t work well for concealer under they eye or those hard to reach places
I bought it from Crazy Plastics. But I’m sure most plastic stores or even grocery stores will have it.
Thank you for an interesting blog. Want all these lovely goodies. Wanted know your thoughts on the Nutri Lift Gold foundation?
I haven’t tried it yet Jolene. But I know of a few people who swear by it.
such an amazing haul as always. Love everything. That egg tray holder is so cute. I am going to check if I can get one of them 🙂
Thanks Sophia. Check Crazy Plastics. Or maybe even big grocery stores.
Great picks Azraa. You’re gonna love the makeup eraser, it’s a total game changer. I was also disappointed in the size and price of the LA Girl setting spray but still testing it out to see if it’s worth it. The Tarte sets look so amazing. Lemme know how they are. And I’m gonna check the Palladio mattes out next time I’m there. xoxox
Thanks! Yip I’m excited to try it, i use face cloths usually, so keen to see the difference. Yip 30ml is crazy, I actually Google it to check if that was the travel size.
Wow! Such a good round-up! ?
Thanks Melanie!
