Since this post on my April Beauty Favourites is already late, let’s just get started.
A few of these products are oldies but goodies, and I have just recently rediscovered them. And some are brand new products that I have been loving!
Palladio Velvet Matte in Jacquard is a gorgeous bright liquid lipstick. It is comfortable to wear and easy to apply thanks to its soft moussy texture.
*essie Treat Love & Color in ‘laven-dearly makes my nails look so healthy. It lasted on my nails for 8 days, and I am impressed!
I switched up my makeup brush storage recently, so that I use all of my brushes, instead of a select few. Thanks to that, I rediscovered the Real Techiniques Multi Task Brush. I have been using this to apply my foundation/bb cream and it blends seamlessly while giving a light airbrushed finish. It is also way softer than some of the buffing and stippling brushes I have tried.
The *Mii Cosmetics Forever Eye Colour Crayon in Rose Gold has been my go to when I want to apply some eye colour. I am not much of an eyeshadow fan, mostly because it seems like too much of a mission. But recently giving my eyelid a swipe with this and a quick finger blend has changed my mind.
A very oldie but goodie is the essence Silky Touch Blush in Adorable. I don’t know if this is even still sold anymore. It is such a light pink, but somehow works on my tan skin.
And lastly we have the Garnier BB Cream for combination to oily skin in Medium. This is so thin and runny but somehow manages to provide good coverage. It is the perfect shade for me, and I love that it is so affordable! I find the original to be a bit too thick and rich, but this is amazing. The only issue I have is the product always leaks out of the tube, in the picture below I had just wiped it and it leaked again. Luckily, it has since been reformulated in a new tube, which you can read about in my post about the New Garnier Launches.

It’s always awesome to rediscover your makeup vs always having to buy new goodies. I’ve never tried Essence blushes…this one looks great!
I used to love the old Garnier BB cream, but I needed the oil free version, but they didn’t offer the same shade selection., so I never found a match.
Yup and this blush is so pretty! The satin ones are also my faves. I hate it when things change when I love the old products.

The Essence Silky Touch Blush in Adorable for sure 🙂
I love the Garnier BB cream. I also use the version for oily skin. I’ve been so tempted to buy another tube, but like you, I thought the old tube was SUCH a pain and I can’t figure out if the stock on the shelves at my local Clicks and Dischem are the new bottles or the old!
I’m not sure what the difference in box is. But the new tubes lid is longer and more square. And the blue block that says combination to oily is above the miracle skin perfector block on the new tube. Hopefully that would help.
Thanks – that is very helpful!
It’s a pleasure! Good luck searching for the new one 😀
