It’s that time of the month again, where I am late to posting my month specific posts. I’ll hopefully have my April Favourites and First Impressions out this week too. But today, I am sharing my April Beauty Haul with you. So, aside from exciting international beauty buys, essence, Catrice and Physicians Formula launched some long-awaited new products, so I snatched them up as soon as I saw them in store. I also went to Kamersvol, which is always a skincare haven for me!
These are my skincare picks from Kamersvol. Two of the Lulu & Marula products as well as the Skoon Papaya + Pineapple Sherbet were on my Birthday Wishlist, so that justified getting them, right? My bofyriend bought me the Skoon product and I treated myself to the Lulu & Marula ones. I also bought two products from wass, I just love the minimalism. Although my boyfriend says the face oil smells like atchaar. Hahaha!
Moving onto a few odds and ends. I have heard great things about this Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil, and at the price I definitely needed to give it a try! The Tarte highlighter in Stunner is just gorgeous, isn’t it? And, I bought two of the new Catrice launches. I actually bought two more, but returned them since I was sent a few products by the brand. Lastly my best friend, slipper girl bought a L’Occitane hand cream duo, so I ended up with one, which is perfect for winter!
Oh essence, you never cease to amaze me! Firstly, how cute is the limited edition Me & My Umbrella blush? I also picked up a few of the new face products. I am hoping the bronzers are similiar to the Lights of Orient ones, because I love those! Lastly, I bought the mascara because I love the packaging, bad I know!
I was impatiently waiting for the Physicians Formula InstaReady Range to land in South Africa, and it finally has. I haven’t seen the BB Cream yet, but when I saw the setting spray and spf 30 bronzer, I jumped at it!
There was also a stand of the new Dove Derma Spa range, and after testing them out I settled on a few. They smell amazing and feel luxurious, definitely a winter must-have!
I also picked up some Crabtree & Evelyn Body Lotions, and a candle too!
I must be honest, I only bought this because of the design, and looking back I slightly regret this purchase. I think it was way too expensive for a face powder.
With my purchase above I got the sample sizes of all the Shadescents.
There was a new Retail Box Secret Box, and I obviously bought it, it is always such great value.
Sephora Favorites sets are literally my dream come true. I love trying new brands, and I love the mini sizes, because then hopefully I will finish some products. There are a few brands that I have already tried in this set, but I am especially excited for the NARS.
Another Sephora Favorites set is the Give me Some Nude Lip. I bought the previous version too, which you can check out here.
Next up is Beauty Sleep, I basically bought this for the Sunday Riley, Caudalie and Farmacy products!
Last, but not least is my April Sephora Play box. So happy with the Peter Thomas Roth Cloud Cream and Kate Somerville ExfoliKate.
Thanks for popping by, let’s chat on Twitter!
