There is a new essence Trend Edition, and it is pretty! So, keep reading for the essence Lights of Orient Review and Swatches. I will keep the review short, and sweet so that you can get down to the shops before it is sold out!
I only bought three products from the collection, as I do not need any more nail polishes or highlighters. Also, the highlighter did look a bit too glittery for my liking.
There are two bronzers in the collection, and I bought the darker shade called Oriental Beauty (R63.50). It is a matte bronzer, with a golden shimmering center. And, it is the only bronzer I have been using since I bought it. It adds a warm glow to the face without being too harsh, too orange or too shimmery. Plus, how pretty does it look!
I also bought two of the three Matt Lipsticks (R47.95). Princess Jasmines Choice is a deep purple berry shade and The Sultan’s Daughter is a warm dusty rose shade. They are not fully matte, but they are comfortable, long-lasting and highly pigmented.
Below we have swatches of the Bronzer in Oriental Beauty (L-R) The shimmery golden center, both shades swirled together and the matt bronzer.
And on the left we have The Sultan’s Daughter and on the right Princess Jasmine’s Choice.
The essence Lights of Orient Trend Edition is currently available at Clicks, but it is limited edition, so if you like it, you gotta be quick!

Thanks i think they are amazing,
Keep up the good work
Thank you
The matt bronzer looks interesting..wonder if it would replace my Hoola bronzer 🤔
The packaging of this collection is really pretty, specially the eyeshadow palette but they are just too shimmery, though fairly pigmented.
I think it would be a bit of a mission to avoid the shimmer centre though. I think it is a bit warmer than Hoola.
I like your swatches 🙂
Now to get my hands on that bronzer and lipsticks!
Thanks Reonette! I think they are stunning! And the bronzer is not orange, so you might prefer it to your Catrice one.
