January Favourites and Empties!

Hi Ladies

No need for a long intro, let’s jump straight into my January Favourites…

Prettiful Blog South African Beauty Blog

I bought this MOD Makeup Finishing Spray for about R90 at Dischem, and I am loving it. The ingredients are pretty similiar to the MAC Prep + Prime Fix +. If you find the MAC  a bit out of your budget, then this is the perfect product for you. It isn’t drying, the mist if fine, and it keeps makeup looking fresh all day.

I also bought this Quilibra Protective Oil Hair Spray from Dischem a while ago, and it was a real life saver this summer. My hair was feeling extremely dry and stripped, but once I started using this before going out in the sun, my hair condition really improved. I think it was about R80. And it smells amazing too!

Catrice Luxury Lashes Mascara* is amazing! I did a short review on the product in my December First Impressions, so I won’t go into too much detail, except that this is a great affordable mascara option.

Clinique High Impact Mascara is another great mascara, I love the brush and the formula. I like my mascara a bit on the dry side, and I simply love the effect this gives my lashes, without any flaking. The Clinique Spoolie below will definitely be saved and used with my other mascaras.

Clinique High Impact Mascara

I reviewed the Sephora Lash Amplifier a while ago, and I am still really loving this as a lash comb. It gets rid of clumps, curls and takes your mascara and lashes to the next level.

Essence Natural Beauty Blush Review

I found this Essence Silky Touch Blush in Natural Beauty unused in my stash, and tried it out and loved it! It is a peachy pink shade with brown undertones and a slight shimmer. It is soft and buttery and blends like a dream. A great budget blush!

I mentioned the Accessorize Merged Baked Blusher in Quiver in my December First Impressions, and this blush continues to wow me. I am constantly on the look out for more shades of this blush, but I can never seem to find it at Clicks anymore. If you see any of these blushers, do yourself a favour and get one.

I received this Catrice Ultimate Stay Lipstick in Floral Coral* in a generous bag from Catrice last year, and I am loving this colour. It is a pinkish coral with a great formulation, great pigmentation and great staying power.

And now for the empties!

Kings and Queens Shower Gel

I really enjoyed this Cinnamon and Orange Shower Gel, it smells really nice. I have a couple more Kings & Queens shower gels to try out, so I am looking forward to that!

A couple more of my *Skoon Skincare samples are finished, you can read my full review here.

The Body Shop Honeymania Body Butter

The Body Shop Honeymania Body Butter was really nice! It is probably my second favourite scent, after Moringa.

Clinique High Impact Mascara is one of my favourites this month, and is finished… Sob!

Estee Lauder Projectionist is also finished, I have put a few drops of Argan Oil into this tube for a tinted treatment.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Lip Treatment review

REN Revitalising Night Cream* is one of my favourite night creams, you can read more about it in my November Favourites.

This little tub of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Lip Protectant has lasted me quite a while, and I am quite sad to see it go.

Thanks for reading Ladies!
