Today, let me introduce you to Yungskin, the world’s first Energy Infused Skincare Range, and it was created right here in South Africa! *Yungskin uses the principles of acupuncture and energy flow, to care for your skin sans needles. It is a natural-based skincare range, created by renowned homeopath and acupuncturist Dr Philip Sherwin and developed using the principles of homeopathy and acupuncture. Yungskin products are energised using quantum energy science and cellular stimulation principles.
Yungskin is designed to stimulate targeted Acupuncture face-lifting points on the face, around the eyes and neck resulting in the regeneration of the skin’s natural vitality and youthfulness.
It all sounds pretty technical, bordering on science fiction to be honest, but after using the products continuously for more than a month, I can say I am a believer! My favourite products are the Night Cream and Sun Care.
Although labelled Night and Day Cream, I think they are best described as Rich and Light Cream. The texture of both is that of whipped cream, that just melts into your skin on contact. Both creams have been specifically infused and energised to stimulate and enhance Acupuncture points in the face at a deep cellular level to provide visible and lasting results, when used correctly. It is advised to use these creams directly on the skin for the best results, as opposed to over serums, etc. A break every 2 weeks is also recommended to allow the skin to relax after the acupuncture points stimulation.
The Night Cream (R410) has a rich, luxurious but not greasy texture. Because of my dehydrated skin, I preferred this cream over the Day Cream both day and night. My skin looks plump and hydrated, my dehydration lines look less pronounced and overall my skin just looks good.
The Day Cream (R395) which is a lighter version of the above is best suited to teens, females up to the age 30 and all males thanks to its lighter less rich texture. Since the weather is getting warmer, I might swap to this cream and see how my skin does.
And my absolute favourite of the bunch is the Sun Care SPF40 (R140), which even made it to my September Favourites! This SPF 40 product is CANSA-approved, provides both UVA and UVB protection, is non-greasy, non-sticky and leaves no white residue. Those are all great, but the thing I love most about this is the texture! Soft fluffy and easily absorbed. You can see the texture below, but I promise you the feel of this is just AMAZING! And for R140, yes please!

It is such a lovely cloud like cream, so happy with them!
The sunscreen sounds good, I never leave the house without it! xx
Me too! I slather myself daily! This one has an amazing texture!
The Night Cream sounds lovely for this time of year! I need a new night cream so I’ll be checking this out x
It’s so soft and fluffy, like a cloud cream that has recently become all the rage!
It does sound very scientific! I’ve never heard of this brand before so thank you for introducing me to them! I’ll be sure to let you know if I manage to get my hands on anything of theirs!
I think they have a UK site, if I am not mistaken. The sun protection is a must in my opinion!
Never heard of this before, but they sound amazing
It is a pretty interesting brand, I just love the feel of it on my skin!
The range sounds lovely. It’s my main thing to have a hefty SPF in all my skincare and beauty!
Yes, I agree! Makeup and skincare mean nothing if you don’t use sun protection. Especially in South Africa, the sun is so harsh!
I haven’t heard of this brand before but now I’m eager to try it! Think I’ll be starting with the night cream as I’m in need of a new one.

It is! I have been wearing it daily, and I am really happy with it
This range sounds so interesting! I am very curious about that night cream as I also have dehydrated skin. The sunscreen sounds amazing too and I cannot believe it is so affordable!
The sunscreen is amazing! I also couldn’t believe it, I expected it to be at least R200. SO so happy with it!
The Sun Care SPF will be on my shopping list after reading your review. It is so affordable 🙂
It’s really great Reonette! Let me know what you think of it!
I’ve already saved this SPF on my MUST PURCHASE list for after pay day. I’m on a mission to find an affordable SPF that works for me like my Bioderma Aquafluid does, and while that one isn’t overly pricey, I’d rather put more money into my actual skincare than a sunblock. If this one works I’ll be so stoked!

I was really surprised at the price, because it is so good! I am trying the tinted Bioderma fluid now, but still making up my mind about it.
