I ran a poll on Twitter to find out which of my usual monthly posts you would like to see first, and September Beauty Favourites came out on top, followed by September Beauty Haul and then First Impressions. So, let’s kick off this series!
These are all relatively new products to me, as I have only been using most of them for about a month or so, but boy have they stood out! I can see myself using all of these throughout Summer!
Let’s start with what should be the most important part of your skincare routine, Sun Protection! I have a new favourite sun cream, *Sun Care by Yungskin. I will have a full review of a few Yungskin products in the next few weeks, but for now let’s focus on this beauty. Aside from the SPF 40 and UVA/UVB Protection, what really impressed me about this is the texture. It is so light and non-greasy, but also silky smooth, I think the best way to describe it is like a fluffy cloud on your skin. It absorbs immediately and doesn’t leave any white cast, and most importantly it plays well under makeup and doesn’t pill. Oh, and one more thing, it is only R140!!!
Next up is this gorgeous Limited Edition Clarins Sunkissed *Bronzing and Blush Compact. I have used this more than twenty times, and the embossing still looks as beautiful as when I first opened it. It gives my face such a lovely sunkissed glow, it’s the only bronzer I have been reaching for. You can check out my full review with swatches over here.

Dark circles are one of my biggest problems, and the best way to hide it, is with a peach or salmon corrector. So, when I saw this Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener in Dark Peach I knew I had to give it a try, and I am so glad I did. It is really light and thin, so it doesn’t crease, but it disguises my dark circles really well. Also, because it isn’t too orange, I can get away with using this without a concealer over, I just set it with a bit of powder, and I am good to go!
What is Summer without a bright lipstick? This AVON Lipstick in Beyond Pink is the perfect Summer lipstick, it is smooth and long lasting, and comfortable on the lips, and just look at that colour!
As the weather warms up the last thing I want on my face is heavy makeup, which is why I have been reaching for the L’Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation in N4. It is light and dewy but still offers a good amount of coverage. It leaves my skin looking radiant and glowing, what more can a girl ask for this Summer?
Thanks for reading Ladies, what are your favourites this month?

The Bobbi Brown corrector sounds promising if it doesn’t crease 🙂
It doesn’t, it’s so light, so so happy with it!

They are amazing! I love the limited edition ones, something lovely and new to collect every year
I’ve been on the lookout for a good sunscreen as mine is almost finished.. I’m usually a hardcore Bioderma fan, but I’ve been trying out some more affordable face sunscreens and haven’t found anything as good yet. I think I’m going to give this one a go!

It is so silky soft, you will love it! It is ever lighter than Bioderma!
