I am on time with my September posts, yay, if you haven’t already checked out my favourites, have a peep here! This month I picked up a few makeup and skincare bits and bobs, and most of the products are available in SA. Let’s start with makeup, and the prettiest of them all!
I had my eye on the Sweetie Pie Radiant Matte Bronzer from Too Faced as soon as I saw the preview! If you know me you know I love me a cute face product! To be honest, I don’t see myself using this any time soon, I will keep it just to look at, and smell.
There are a few new NYX Professional Makeup products on the block, which of course I had to try since it is one of my favourite brands. It is also mostly on the affordable side, and the quality is always great! There was a stand at Pro Beauty, but unfortunately most products didn’t have testers, so I got a few things that Google swatches recommended (which is basically everything that looks good on Safiyah Tasneem, as it seems as if we are skin tone twins).
Moving on to less affordable makeup, I treated myself to some Tom Ford makeup. Unfortunately the shade of the Flawless Powder/Foundation I chose is too dark, but it works so well as a bronzer. I will have a full review of all the products up soon.
If you saw swatches of the WetnWild Megaglo Highlighters, you will know how gorgeous they are. So, when I saw this new limited edition one in store, I grabbed it. I also saw this pretty embossed Revlon blush.
I have wanted the OFRA Nikkie Highlighter in Everglow for ages, but I didn’t want the whole set. So, when I saw it individually at Pro Beauty, my dear boyfriend bought it for me. Isn’t he the best? I also bought the Bodyography Electric Lip Slide.
Lastly, I bought the MAC Mineralize Charged Water Skin Hydrating Mist. I had my makeup done for the Boity Toning Support Launch, and so I had to buy R500 worth of products, which is not hard at MAC. I bought half lashes, which I used for the launch, and then this mist.
I bought the tarte Highlighter and Bronzer set, as well as the Erborian BB and CC set. Erborian is one of my favourite brands, and I really hate that they are no longer available in SA.
I have had my eye on a few of the new Colourpop Beauties for a while, so when an opportunity came up, I jumped at it! You can check out what I bought here, and there is a little GIVEAWAY too!
My September Play Box arrived so quickly this month it was amazing! I am not too impressed with the box though, I want less haircare, and more makeup and skincare.
If you haven’t seen or heard by now, Payot has relaunched in SA, and is now available at Dischem. I picked up a few items that I am super excited to try!
I bought a few skincare odds and ends, and I am excited to try the Sushi Ceremony Crystal Rice Powder Mask.
When I said I love the Human + Kind Family Remedy Cream I really meant it! My hands can’t live without this stuff in Winter!
Thanks for reading Ladies!
P.S. Although I bought these new Urban Studio and CALA brushes in October, I thought I should share them with you, because they are just too pretty not to! I will hopefully have a full review up later this week.

That Too Faced Bronzer looks gorgeous! I’m a fan of their Chocolate Soleil ones so that one might be worth checking out. Gorgeous picks for the month!
It is pretty! Ooohhh I love that one too, and the scent! Thanks for reading 😀
So many new goodies to play with! Wow! Looking forward to read your reviews. I agree, I also won’t be able to use that Too Faced bronzer – it is way too gorgeous!
Haha once I stop hoarding them 😂
What a variety, I like …
Thanks Reonette!
Those brushes
They’re so pretty! And they are so so soft too!
