Revlon Makes me Blush

There are two new Revlon Blush launches that I am pretty excited for! The first is the Revlon Powder Blush Shade Extension and the second is Insta-Blush, a cream to powder stick formula.

Revlon Blush

There are 5 new shades in the Powder Blush Range (R239), and three finishes: matte, satin and shimmer. I received *Bronze Beauty which has a satin finish and when I first saw it, I thought there was no way this is going to suit my skin tone. But I was pleasantly surprised. It gives me skin a healthy flushed look and I love the satin finish. It is radiant without shimmer, and offers that little bit more than a matte finish. The blush comes in a cute compact that is travel friendly, and a brush, although I am not a fan of brushes that come in compacts. There isn’t fallout, and it is easy to blend and offers 8 hours of wear, so definitely a winner for me!

The Revlon Insta- formula has been a winner for me since the Photoready Insta-Fix Foundations, and then the Contour & Highlight Duo. Both the foundation and highlighter featured in my Best of Makeup 2016. The Insta-Blush (R220) is just as creamy, smooth and blendable and applies without dragging or pulling at the skin. It is lightweight and gives a sheer flushed finish, and I love that there are shades for all skin tones! I received *Rose Gold Kiss for fair skin tones, which is unfortunately too light for me as a blush, but I am so glad that the formula is the same as the other Insta products. I am hoping to pick up Nude Kiss for medium skin tones or Berry Kiss for dark skin tones when I see them at the shops. There is also Candy Kiss which is for light skin tones.
