It’s time for my May Beauty Favourites. I realised while putting this post together, all of my favourites this month have a very autumn feel and tone to them. Am I imagining it, what do you think? I also have a few empties to share with you at the end.
I have featured most of these products already in edits or reviews, so I will keep it short.
The *Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate is a lovely scented lightweight facial oil that hydrates the skin and minimises the appearance of skin fatigue. We are just 10 days into the fasting month, and my skin is definitely fatigued, and this has made a huge difference to the look and feel of it.
What’s a favourites post without some makeup though, right?
All of the products are swatched below (Top-Bottom)
The Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Alluring Rose is the most gorgeous rose gold shade. The formula of this blush range is perfection!
The *Maybelline Master Strobing Stick in Nude Glow is just pure glow. And I love it. I am not usually a huge fan of cream highlighters, but this one is so soft and blendable, and I can’t get enough.
Since the weather is cooler and drier, the *Lancome Juicy Shaker in Good Kara-Mel has been making more of an appearance. I love the subtle but buildable tint and that the oil leaves my lips comfortable and moisturised. There is also a Matte Shaker coming soon, which I can’t wait to get my hands on!
Lastly I have a very oldie but goodie, the Revlon Beyond Natural Lip Tint in Rosy Rose. This tinted lip balm gives lips a bit of life while moisturising and protecting with SPF 15.
And now for some Empties:
I really liked the Moroccanoil Moisture Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, and have actually repurchased it already. The Cafe de Bain Raspberry & Rose Creme Tarte Softening Shower Creme has such a yummy scent, and I love how affordable it is.
The Nimue SPF 40 is one of the best face sunscreen products I have tried, and I can definitely see myself repurchasing it in the future. The Uriage Nourisihing and Cleansing Cream is very gentle and works nicely in winter, but I don’t think I would repurchase. Lastly, the Freedom Makeup ProStudio Fixing Spray is a nice budget spray. It has quite a strong scent, but didn’t dry out my skin or leave a tight feeling.
