Ah Winter, are you over yet? My fingers are freezing as I am typing this! Today I will be sharing a few of my June Favourites and some empties too!
The *dermalogica Calm Water Gel has been a life saver! It is calming and hydrating, and even after intense face treatments it soothes my skin. It is ultra lightweight, and absorbs well into the skin, leaving it looking and feeling plump and supple with my dehydration lines visibly reduced.
The *L’Oreal Brow Artist Sculpt in Dark Brunette is the brow product I reach for when I am in a rush. It is so easy to use, and does a great job of filling brows for a natural effect. Use the pointed tip to fill the brows, and then the spoolie to brush it out to a natural finish. This did take me a bit of time to get used to, but now that I have, I love it!
Swatches from Top-Bottom:
I had forgotten about the MAC Cream Colour Base in Hush. It is such a pretty cream highlighter that leaves skin dewy and glowing without emphasising pores or other imperfections. I love cream products in Winter, especially when my skin is feeling irritated or dehydrated, and powder products can leave skin looking drier and older.
I love this Korres Quince Lip Butter, it is hydrating and leaves lips with a pretty pink tint.
Lastly another forgotten product is the tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer in Medium Tan. I don’t think this is creaseless, but it does crease less than other full coverage concealers. You only need a dot of this for each under eye area, and the coverage is great. It also brightens the area well.
Now for some empties!
*Nuxe Creme Fraiche de Beauté 48HR Moisturising Cream– I really loved this moisturiser, which is why it is already finished. It hydrates, smells amazing and makes my skin feel silky soft.
Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel- A wonderful cleanser that cleanses without stripping the skin.
Soap & Glory Scrub Of Your Life- I love the scent of this range from S&G, and this scrub is nice and scrubby!
essence Rebel Queen- I really liked this essence fragrance from one of their Trend Editions, I think essence fragrances are underrated!
