Dermalogica Sound Sleep Cocoon Review

With a tagline “Transform By Night, Glow By Day”, who wouldn’t want to try the new dermalogica Sound Sleep Cocoon.
This gel-cream contains three key ingredients that promise to hydrate, brighten and revitalise the skin. Tamarind Seed Extract supports the skins natural hydration for soft supple skin, Wu-Zhu-Yu Extract brightens the skin for increased radiance by morning and Persian Silk-tree Extract reduces the signs of skin fatigue and revitalises the skin. *Sound Sleep Cocoon also includes motion-activated French-lavender essential oil to reduce restlessness and promote deep sleep, because we all know when we have a good sleep we wake up looking and feeling better!
The texture is soft and silky, and more hydrating than I expected. My skin feels supple and looks healthier and even has a subtle glow to it. I do also feel like I have a more restful sleep on nights when I use this, but I don’t know if that is in my head, a coincidence or the motion-activated French-lavender, but I suspect it is the latter, as lavender is famous for its sleep promoting scent. I love that this can also be layered over any serums, including retinol, and even over another moisturiser for an extra layer of hydration. This moisturiser works like a daily overnight mask, and I love it!
The inner box of the product has a few points on sleep which I really enjoyed. Speaking of packaging, have you ever had a few product spill mishaps when travelling? The packaging of the Sound Sleep Cocoon has a lock function which ensures that won’t happen!
What do you think of the dermalogica Sound Sleep Cocoon? dermalogica Skincare is most certainly an investment in your skin, it does not come cheap, but is worth it! However, I would recommend getting some samples first, especially with this product as it contains essential oils which may irritate sensitive skin. You can get a 10ml sample of the dermalogica Sound Sleep Cocoon with all online orders here. Side Note: A great moisturiser for sensitive skin is the Calm Water Gel.
