Time for the Splurge Beauty Gift Guide! If you haven’t checked out my previous Christmas Gift Guides, click here for the Under R200 and here for the Under R500.
The Body Shop Advent Calender (R1250 from The Body Shop). I love advent calenders, and one from The Body Shop, wow! I saw this at The Body Shop Eastgate, and I was so so close to getting it. But, because I have an obsession/addiction to The Body Shop I already have 99% of the products in the set, so it wasn’t worth it for me. This would make a great gift though, but stock is limited, and only selected stores stock them.
Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance (R1100 from Dermalogica). I love Dermalogica products, they are so effective. There are currently some specials running, where you buy a certain product and you receive two gifts, which is definitely worth it! You can check out the specials here. Another great option from Dermalogica is the new Charcoal Rescue Masque, another product that is high on my wishlist!
The Body Shop Spa of The World Luxurious Body Collection (R1250 from The Body Shop). This is a stunning gift set! When I first saw this online I doubted we would get it here in SA, but thankfully we got it! This is a perfect gift for any special lady in your life, a mom, sister, best friend, or anyone who needs a bit of me time pampering. It contains the very best of the Spa of The World Range; Egyptian Milk & Honey Bath 250g, African Ximenia Scrub 350ml, Japanese Camellia Cream 350ml, French Lavender Massage Oil 170ml and Thai Wooden Massager. The Spa of The World Range is the Elite of The Body Shop products! I own three products from the range, and although it is slightly more expensive than the normal products, it is definitely worth it!
Sampar Impossible Radiance Gift Set. (R880 from Edgars and Woolworths). The set contains 3 products; Full size Impossible C-rum (valued at R790), Deluxe size Golden Glow (bronzing moisturiser – limited edition), Deluxe size Equalising Foam Peel and a Beautiful Pink Sampar drawstring bag. This gift set is all you need for glowing radiant skin. The Impossible C-rum assists in hydrating the skin, while dimishing dark spots. The Golden Glow is a tinted moisturiser to give you a sunkissed glow. The Equalising Foam Peel is applied as a mask, purifies as a peel and effortlessly rinses off like a cleanser, and skin is left smoother and more luminous in just two minutes.
Skoon Body Oil Duo (R720 from Skoon). As you can see, Skoon is definitely my brand of the moment! This duo contains the Skoon Body Oil Vanilla and Blood Orange and the Skoon Solid Body Oil Frangipani Flowers. I love the smell of Frangipani flowers, it reminds me of exotic island holidays with my boyfriend. Although I haven’t tried any body products from Skoon, I know they will not disappoint. You can get this body oil duo for R720 instead of R900, sounds like a good deal to me! You can also get both Glow Drops and White Cloud Manuka Concentrates for R840 instead of R1050. Check out the gift sets here.
Benefit Party Poppers (R575 from Edgars and Red Square). 12 mini goodies from Benefit, including their bestseller Porefessional, and my favourite products Watt’s up and High Beam. This is the perfect gift for a Benefit Newbie, a chance to try 12 of their must have products. This set includes; the POREfessional mini 7.5mL, they’re real! mascara mini, they’re real! remover mini, lollitint mini 2.5mL, high beam mini 2.5mL, ooh la lift mini, watt’s up! mini, BADgal lash mini, ultra plush lip gloss mini in hoola, ultra plush lip gloss mini in sugarbomb, rockateur mini and total moisture facial cream mini.
The Balm Manizer Sisters Palette (R529 from Retail Box). Mary-Lou, Cindy-Lou and Betty-Lou in one palette! This is a dream come true for many ladies. I think this is a great palette, especially if you don’t own any of the Manizer sisters, I only own Mary-Lou, but I would love to try out the others too, and this palette is perfect to do just that! You can get this on the Retail Box Website here.
Rain Africa Wild Cotton Gift Box (R995 from Rain Africa). I love Rain Africa, my favourite scent by far is Savannah, I even got my boyfriend hooked on the scent. Wild Cotton is a fresh, citrusy, woody fragrance and this gift set contains everything you need for a relaxing pamper day. Hand lotion (50ml), Body lotion (150ml), Cream (225ml), foam bath (300ml), Liquid soap (300ml), Glycerine soap, scented sachet pile of five , bath salts (300g), a ceramic oil burner & burner oil (100ml). Becca Afterglow Palette (R590 from Becca Cosmetics). This palette contains two blushes and three pressed shimmering skin perfectors. The highlighters included are Moonstone, Rose Gold and Topaz. The two blushes are Wild Honey and Flowerchild. Once again I love that you get to try 5 different products in one palette. This is a great addition to any makeup collection.
