South Africa has some truly lovely brands, and I really wish more people both locally and internationally knew about them! So today I am sharing a few new Local Lovelies that I have tried out recently, and hopefully we will have a few more Bio Oil and Nandos type hits soon! I have a similiar post for skincare coming up soon and I cannot wait to share it with all of you!
The Matsimela Hand Made Soap and Bath Fizzer are both lovely scented products, and would make great gifts. I absolutely love the hand made soap, and if we weren’t in the middle of a drought, I think the Bath Fizzer would be a great treat!
The *earthsap Hand & Body Lotion smells so fresh, is light, but still moisturising. It also contains no nasties, and is biodegradable. A lovely lotion for Summer!
I live for cuticle oils, and the *Spalicious Peach & Apricot Cuticle Oil does a great job moisturising my cuticles. It is also really easy to apply, thanks to the roll-on, and so convenient to keep in your handbag or at your desk.
The Healing Earth Hand & Body Lotion with its fresh lemon scent and super moisturising but non-greasy formula is living in my handbag! The scent reminds me of Thailand, and it is just lovely!
The Mies Hand & Body Oil is such a pampering treat, it smells amazing and leaves my skin soft and silky. The glass bottle packaging also adds to the luxurious experience.
The *Spalicious Wild Ginger & Honey Self Heating Sugar Scrub is a warming clay mask that is applied to the body, and has the most luxurious spa-like feel. I don’t find it to be much of a scrub, there are a few scrubby bits in there, which you can slightly feel as you massage it in, but the best part of this is the warm feeling once applied.
The *Aloe Unique Detox Immuno Support & Revitalizer tablets are antioxidant tablets meant to support the immune system and assist the body in coping with stress and other lifestyle issues such as a poor diet by eliminating free radicals. When it comes to supplements, I think you need more than 3 months of consistent use to see or feel a difference. I have just finished my bottle, and I haven’t had any negative reactions to this. I do also feel that I don’t feel as run down as I usually do from having a demanding full time job.
Do you have any Local Lovelies to share with me?
