Hello Pretty Mani!

Happy Monday Ladies!

Today I have some swatches of the new Tokyo inspired Morgan Taylor Summer Collection called ‘Hello Pretty’ for you.

Bring on Summer!

I received two shades to review, ‘Do You Harajuku?’ and ‘Pop-Arazzi Pose’. Do you Harajuku? is a mint green shade with a slight shimmer. And Pop-Arazzi Pose is a bright neon hot pink/red.

Pop-Arazzi Pose is stunning! And it is so opaque for a neon, and so bright, I only used two coats. I find that with most neons I have to use a white base coat to make it pop, but this pops all by itself! It dries to a sort of semi-matte finish, as you can see below. I quite like the finish, but if you are not a fan, you can always add a top coat for some shine.  The colour is so bright it is unbelievable. If you love bright colours, then you will love this, so bright and so easy to paint with! I definitely think this is the winner of this collection.

Do you Harajuku? is a bit more on the sheer side, I needed three coats, and could have even done with four. It is a bit streaky on the first two coats, but by the third it smooths out. It is a stunning pastel mint green, with shimmer. This is a very versatile colour, and would look perfect no matter the season or occasion.

This collection will be available this month at Salons, Dischem and Sorbet stores, for R123. The entire collection also comes in matching Gelish colours! See anything you like?

Thanks for reading Ladies!

The Pop-Arazzi Pose is so striking – I am not really a fan of bright neons but this popping pink/red looks stunning!

I also can’t choose, although I don’t like applying more than two coats of a colour, so the mint is a bit of a mission. But I love the unique shimmer of it.
