I know I have been harping on about winter and skincare quite a lot recently, but it is a true reflection of my current routine. I have been paying far more attention to my skin, and skincare routine, and I have really been upping my hydration and use of active ingredients. So, today I will share my Dehydrated Skin Edit with you, a few bits and bobs that have been helping me help my skin.
The *Beaucience Cleansing Gel cleanses really well without drying out the skin. I am always a bit weary about gel cleansers as they can be harsh on the skin, but this one is anything but harsh. It removes makeup completely, while still being hydrating.
I am loving the *SIX Skincare Soothing Lotion. It is a mist that hydrates and calms the skin. I use this after cleansing before applying my serum, and also after my makeup to hydrate and perk up my skin.
The Bioderma Hydrabio Serum is quite a thick serum that helps with my dehydration lines. It feels comfortable on the skin, absorbs quickly and makes a visible difference without being too rich.
The *Vichy Idealia Energizing Day Cream is great for dull skin. It gives instant radiance to my skin while also helping with hydration.
At night I have been using the *Dr. Gobac Night Lift, and my skin feels softer and is plumper looking in the morning. And, I have one to giveaway too!
The *Beaucience Day and Night Cream is quite a rich comforting cream, perfect for winter nights. It also has such a soothing scent!
I bought the Cure Natural Aqua Gel overseas, and it is awesome. It is a gel that you rub on clean, dry skin, and it sort of balls up along with dead skin for a good exfoliation without being too harsh. Unfortunately it is not available in South Africa, but there are some similiar products, and I am giving one away!
The Jack Black Lip Balm is thick and moisturising and has a mint scent. When my lips need some extra care, this is the one I reach for!
Lastly, the Swiss Ritual Intensive Moisturizing Mask. This is a cream mask that hydrates and plumps up my skin. Unfortunately this is also not available here, but the Avene Soothing Moisture Mask is a great alternative that I love.
Now for a little giveaway!
Although I can’t get the Cure Aqua Gel to giveaway to you, this locally available *Peeling Gel from Afriderm pretty much does the same thing! I also have a *Dr. Gobac Night Lift for one lucky reader.

The SIX Skincare Soothing Lotion sounds intriguing … loving all these helpful hints for winter. My skin certainly needs a pick-me-up this winter.
It’s really a great skin treat! Not sure why it’s called lotion, it’s more a hydrating mist in my opinion 😀
