Hellooo, I hope everyone had a good festive season! I have been back at work for almost a week now, although I am still trying to get back into things, especially since most people are still on leave. I did quite a bit of shopping last month, which you will soon see, but my favourite has got to be the Sephora Moschino Bear Highlighter! I also finally got my hands on some KIKO Makeup! So, get comfy and let’s get started on my December Beauty Haul!
My best friend, AKA slipper girl was in Amsterdam a while back, so I obviously asked her to get me some makeup. I gave her a list of a few items after browsing the KIKO website. Crossing fingers the foundation is the right shade!
There were two new essence Trend Editions at Clicks recently, I picked up the Life Is A Festival Duo Blush and the Made To Sparkle Highlighting & Transforming Prismatic Palette. I also bought the Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation, I am just hoping this is the right shade, since there weren’t testers.
So much beauty in this photo! I bought the Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder Trio, Sephora Moschino Bear Highlighter and the MAC Snowball Here Comes Joy Highlighter. I also bought a Sephora Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Firenze and a back up of the Precision Glide Brow Pencil, because it is that amazing!
Finally the Maybelline Dream Cushion has arrived! Unfortunately there aren’t many shade options though, and for the price I expect an exact match. I think this shade would work in summer, but would be too dark for winter. I also picked up the Master Conceal. If you don’t know yet, the MAC website has had a makeover, and is now the same as the US site. There is also 40% off their Goodbyes, so I picked up a few products, it is so worth it!
Next is my Sephora Play Box. Not a bad box, I am quite excited to try the IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream and Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.
I currently have so many new products from The Ordinary that I should stop buying more, but they always have new skincare launches that are just too good not to buy. Luckily Bay.One had a great Black Friday special where I managed to pick up a few antioxidant products, as well as a bundle that included some NIOD products too. I wouldn’t usually buy NIOD without first trying it, as I find them quite expensive, but I was happy to have a few products in the bundle. Unfortunately the size of the Hand Chemistry described in the bundle and the one I received is different, but they are going to send me another one to make up for it. Aside from being the cheapest local supplier of The Ordinary, they have no additional custom charges, have great customer service and a low courier fee. They also send the products they have on hand immediately, while they wait for the other products to arrive. This is the second time I have ordered from them and it has always been pleasant.
I first tried the IT Cosmetics CC Cream as a sample that was included in a Sephora order, and from that first try I was amazed, so although it is pretty expensive, I finally caved and bought it. The beautiful orange blossom shower gel is from Dischem, smells amazing, and looks so luxurious, and what’s even better, it is affordable!
I picked up a few pretty soaps for sale at Woolworths for only R29 each. As you can see, my love for Orange Blossom has not died down since the Nuxe Cream got me hooked!
The Body Shop Body Butter and Scented Candles, as if I need to explain more! I received a few products from the Christmas Collection to review, and bought a few others, and then bought some more. I needed a backup of the Vanilla Chai Scented Candle and Body Butter. My only issue with the candles is that they pool quite a lot.
Another new discovery from Dischem is the Amz Loves by Jenam range that is both cute and affordable, but looks very similiar to Zoella products. I wish they had been more original, as this range is basically an exact copy of Zoella Beauty.
I previously bought the Kahaia Eau De Parfum from The Body Shop, but at the time I was torn between that and the Swietenia. So, when my boyfriend bought me the Swietenia Body Lotion I knew I had to get myself the Perfume too. Luckily I exchanged some products that I had bought and was then sent for review, so I didn’t technically spend any money. Unfortunately the body lotions aren’t available at many stores, and in all scents, which is quite disappointing.
Lastly I bought some cute JT One body products on sale at Woolworths. I haven’t tried anything from them before, but they smell amazing!
Thanks for reading ladies! Any preference on what you would like reviewed first?

The Ordinary’s skincare products are my all time fave! I’m quite tempted by NIOD, especially the Photography Fluid 12% but otherwise I’m happy with TO xx
