Happy March Ladies! Yes, yes, the year is flying by, so is life! I am turning 30 on Sunday, although in my head and heart I still think I am 20… Anyway, I will be doing a Birthday Wishlist soon, you know, so I get presents I love. 🙂 I am sure you didn’t come here to read about my age, or anything else, so on we go to my February Beauty Favourites.
MAC Julia Petit Blush in Linda is just a gorgeous understated blush that brightens and lifts the face. I featured it in my Date Night Beauty Edit, along with swatches.
OFRA You Glow Girl Highlighter is just stunning. You can see swatches in my Nude Beauty Edit.
essence Gel Eye Pencil in Black Blaze is so black and long lasting and smooth. I did a bit of a “genius” move though, I sharpened it, not realising it was retractable. Bleh!
I forgot how much I like the LA Girl Matte Flat Velvet Lipstick in Snuggle. It isn’t too drying, and is a perfect every day nude shade.
OFRA Liquid Lipstick in Charmed is another product I chose for my Date Night Beauty Edit, and it is perfection. The perfect shade, and the perfect finish too!
As you can see below I went a little swatch crazy. My hearts in the essence Gel and OFRA Charmed were not the right shape, and I kept trying to correct them, and it just made it worse. Eventually I made myself stop wasting product! The top swatch is LA Girl in Snuggle.
Now onto some empties:
The MOD Makeup Finishing Spray is definitely one I will repurchase! And, I wish the REN Max Moisture Concentrate was not discontinued, as it really is one of the best moisture serums I have tried.
I really liked the *Nimue Cleansing Gel, it was non-drying but left my skin feeling clean.
Another amazing moisture serum is the *Avene Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Serum.
And of course what is an empties post without a body butter from The Body Shop? I really love the peach variant.
I will buy this Lux Sheer Twilight again and again, I love the scent!
The Enjoy Body Lotion was really moisturising, and smells great!
And those are My February Favourites and Empties! Thank you for reading, and let me know what your favourites are in the comments below.
