Welcome to My Spring Beauty Edit!

The Spring Beauty Edit

Spring has finally sprung, and with the warmer weather comes a change in my selection of beauty products.

Let’s start with skincare…

I am loving this *La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water. I use it straight after cleansing to prep my skin for moisturiser, or I use it after applying my makeup for a dewy natural finish. It is also great as a refreshing mist throughout the day to cool you down and soothe your skin.

Next up is the new *Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum which is amazing! It is ultra thin and absorbs so quickly resulting in plumped hydrated skin. It is perfect for sensitive and dehydrated skin. It is super hydrating without being heavy or greasy, and during the day I only use this underneath my sunscreen… No moisturiser needed! At night or when my skin needs a little loving I used this under a moisturiser for an extra moisture boost.

Now onto some Spring Makeup Favourites! When Spring rolls around I like to switch to a lighter coverage, bronzed and glowing skin, bright lips and coral cheeks.

First up is this gorgeous huge bronzer that my boyfriend bought me from Sephora. It gives a very natural bronze glow with a slight shimmer, that warms the face and just makes me look healthy, and not as though I have just faced Winter in the North Pole.

I like to use the *Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter in Fireball as a highlighting blush topper, it gives my blush that extra bit of glam. It isn’t too shimmery or shiny, just enough to give you that glow.

The Bourjois CC Cream is one of my favourite face products, it is light and dewy and gives enough coverage to even skin tone while still giving that no-makeup look. It feels light and hydrating and it literally feels like you have nothing on your face! Which is perfect as the weather heats up.

Catrice Illuminating Blush in Coral me Maybe is a perfect coral brush that gives cheeks a bright glowing flush of colour with a hint of shimmer. It is affordable and highly pigmented, blends easily and lasts long, what more could you ask for in a blush?

I love an orange lip for Spring, and MAC Patent Polish Lip Pencil in Teen Dream, Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer in Sunstone and Stila Lipglaze in Melon are my favourites. From a pigmented lip pencil and lip gloss to a sheer lip gloss these three have me covered.

I am loving that blush too! Good choice. I am a bit disappointed that we didn’t get the highlighter from the collection and that the collection came out in spring. It is amazing, the best Hydrating serum I have tried.
