Radiant Glowing Beauty Edit

Since summer has come to an end, my goal is to keep that sun-kissed glow all the way through winter. Starting with skincare, and ending with some select makeup choices, today I am sharing my Radiant Glowing Beauty Edit with you.

Radiant Glowing beauty Edit

When I am looking for a radiant glow, my first step is to start with skincare, a good exfoliator to ensure my skin is smooth and flake free, and a plumping hydrating mask.

Dermalogica have just launched the *Daily Superfoliant (R1180), which is a highly-active resurfacer that gives you the smoothest skin ever, and I concur, my skin felt smooth, but not irritated, thanks to the Alpha Hydroxy Acids. It also has Activated Binchotan Charcoal to purify the skin, helping to adsorb environmental toxins from deep within the pores and Niacinamide, Red Algae and Tara Fruit Extract to help guard against the damaging effects of pollution. The powder is activated with water, so there is no chance of this losing its efficacy anytime soon, and because you only use a half a teaspoon, this will last you a lifetime. Luckily for one of my readers, I have a Dermalogica Giveaway coming up soon, where you can win this, and the brand new Age Reversal Eye Complex! So keep an eye on the blog.

Next up is the Dermalogica *Skin Hydrating Masque (R710) which is great for stressed and dry skin. I swear this masque is magical, it plumps my skin so well, that my fine lines basically disappear. It has a light creamy consistency, and offers immediate superficial hydration, as well as longer term hydration by restoring the skin’s protective barrier.

I am also loving the Josie Maran Argan Infinity Intensive Creamy Oil for my lips, and any other dry sensitive areas. This is expecially great in winter around the nose and cheek areas, when the blistering cold is not very kind to the skin!

Now that my skin is perfectly prepped, it is smooth and plump and glowing, and ready for some makeup!

Swatches from Bottom – Top

A dewy foundation is a must for radiant skin, and this Amore Pacific Color Control Cushion Compact is perfect. It gives the right amount of coverage to hide any imperfections, but doesn’t look heavy on the skin. It also doesn’t look too dewy, leaning oily, but has that perfect healthy finish. It also has an SPF 50, which is a win!

MAC Trip The Light Fantastic Powder in Highly Illogical is a stunning shimmery bronze shade with copper and gold tones. This works so well as a blush for sun-kissed glowing cheeks, as it doesn’t emphasise pores and is finely milled, so no sign of chunky glitter.

I love using the Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil in Everlasting Honey to prep my lips or as a tinted balm when I don’t want much colour. It also works really well on my cheeks for a light flushed tint, when I want the no-makeup look.

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey is somewhere between a lipstick and a lip balm. It is moisturising and slightly tinted and keeps lips hydrated and comfortable.

Smashbox Always on Matte Liquid Lipstick in Driver’s Seat is amazing! Which is why I added two more shades to my Birthday Wishlist. It is non-drying and so pigmented, and somehow a matte lip just perfects a radiant glowing look. If you haven’t tried this liquid lipstick range from Smashbox, do yourself a favour and do it now.

Yip it is amazing, I wanna get a few more. I think about R250. Oh me too, my skin gets so dehydrated in winter! I haven’t tried that mask, let me know how it is. The Bouncy SLeeping Mask is also meant to be good
