Cadbury P.S has launched a #PSGiveADress campaign, and you can get involved! All you have to do is sort through your wardrobe, find a stunning but neglected pre-loved dress, and you too can make someone feel special. It doesn’t specifically have to be a matric farewell dress, a bridesmaid or any other special occasion dress will be more than appreciated.
If you would like to make someones dreams come true, take your pre-loved dress to these participating The Space stores until the 14th August:
Kwazulu Natal- Gateway and Pavillion
Johannesburg- The Zone, Clearwater and Mall of Africa
Pretoria- Woodlands and Brooklyn
Cape Town- Canal Walk and Cavendish
Port Elizabeth- Baywest
For more information, visit the website or find them on Facebook and Twitter.
Will you be donating a dress?
While we are on the subject of good deeds, Dischem has launched A Million Comforts 2016 campaign, and for only R9,95 you can buy a pack of 10 sanitary pads to donate. Imagine you or your daughter or any teenage girl you know getting through that one week a month without the necessary hygiene products, nevermind the pain killers and hot water bottle. Newspaper, leaves, toilet paper, none of those are healthy alternatives, yet that is the reality for so many young women in our country. And on top of that, they are forced to miss a week of school every month, that’s around 60 school days missed a year. Just R9.95 can make such a difference in someones life. You can read more about this initiative here and even donate online. Always, Lil-lets and Stayfree will match the amount of their products donated, so try and buy those brands if you can, to double the result of your good deed. I bought 10 packs of 10 Stayfree pads yesterday for only R99.50, take your pack to the till, pay for it and deposit it into the branded bin. There have already been 2.8 million pads collected, and there is just over one week left to reach the 3 million target.

Love both this initiatives 🙂 I support the A Million Comforts 2016 campaign everytime I visit a Dischem store
It’s such a good initiative! If everyone gave 1 pack of pads for every 100 they spent on makeup at dischem the target would be reached so quickly!
Excellent initiative?
