October Beauty Favourites!

Today I am sharing my October Beauty Favourites with you… It was really difficult to choose only a few favourites this month, but I finally settled on these 9.

October Beauty Favourites

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream is not a cult product for no reason! Use this on cuticles, lips, dry patches, basically anywhere. I even like to use it on the top of my cheekbones for a dewy no makeup look. I have been using this on my lips and I am loving it!

The *L’Oreal Miss Hippie Mascara gives me such full wispy lashes, I just can’t get enough!

I feel like everyone has been raving about these *Vaseline Spray Moisturisers and I am jumping on that bandwagon! These are just so easy to use, light but moisurising, absorbs instantly and best of all, the spray is cooling during this heatwave we are having. My favourite of the three scents is the refreshing Aloe Soothe.

I am sure you can see the orange lip trend that I am loving at the moment!

Colourpop Lippie Stix in Chi Chi is a stunning bright orange with a matte finish. It is smooth and comfortable on the lips and lasts long without transferring. Definitely one of my favourite lip colours for summer!

The middle swatch is a *Chubby Lipstick from new beauty brand 3INA, and is another one of my favourite shades. This is shade 101 and it is amazing, it has a matte satin finish that is comfortable and long lasting. So pigmented and smooth and the orange will brighten any day!

Last of the lip products is the LA Girl Color Lip Balm in Tokyo which is both moisturising and slightly tinted, great for those no makeup days.

One of my favourite cheek products is the Maybelline Cheeky Glow powder blush in Peachy Sweetie, which unfortunately is not available in South Africa. It is like a powder version of my favourite Dream Bouncy Blush in Peach Satin. It gives a light flush to the cheeks.

Next up I have the *Maybelline Master Contour V-Shape Duo Stick, which is so handy! The highlighter isn’t shimmery, but helps to lift and brighten the area. And the contour shade works really well by adding a shadow. Both shades are easy to blend. As you can see in the swatch, the opposite colour transferred a bit, but this has never happened on my face.

Lastly I have the tarte Cheek Stain in Dazed and I am loving it! It gives skin a glowing flushed look and doesn’t slip and slide even in this hot hot weather.
