New Skincare on Trial

Today is officially the first day of Winter, but it has been getting cooler and drier since the end of April, and my skin is not too happy! Luckily, I have some Skincare on Trial that has helped make the transition a little bit easier.

Skincare on Trial

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you will know I am a huge fan of anything that claims to peel or renew the skin, so I was excited to try out the *Brightening Enzyme Peel from SIX Skincare. The peel is quite gentle, and I don’t feel much when I follow the directions and leave it on for a minute and then massage with water for two minutes. But, when I do it my way, and leave it on for twenty minutes, I feel a slight tingle, and my skin looks brighter and more radiant after use.

Aside from getting rid of dull skin, exfoliating also allows your active products to penetrate better!

I have also been using the *Magnificent Eye Gel, which is the first eye gel I have tried that doesn’t leave a crusty film when dry, or pill under makeup. It is cooling and hydrating, and does a good job at soothing my puffy eyes.

I am loving the *Filorga Lift Designer Ultra-lifting Serum. The combination of cooling roller and silky serum, wakes up my skin and leaves it looking fresh and perky. The serum itself leaves my skin feeling supple and hydrated, and definitely does offer a slight lifting effect.

At night my skin has been loving the *Theravine Tri-Active Hydrating Night Cream. It is a thickish balm, that melts into the skin and feels so luxurious. It contains Squalane, Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid all great ingredients to restore the integrity of the skin and increase hydration. I have used this on its own, and over a serum, and it works well both ways. My skin looks and feels plumper and healthier in the morning.

Last, but not least I have been using the *Echinacea Black Cumin Soufflé Cream from the diego dalla palma Natural Line. Enriched with Black Cumin Seed Oil, an excellent anti-oxidant, this cream is nourishing and makes my skin feel soothed and comfortable. Although the cream looks and feels quite rich, it absorbs well, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy or heavy. I also need to add, it smells amazing!
