Introducing the My Clarins Skincare Range specifically designed for 18-29 year olds. The first thing that caught my eye was the packaging, it is so minimal and cute, you should have a look at the boxes and the cute little quotes next time you are in store. The products themselves smell so floral and beautiful and the range is vegan friendly.
There are quite a few products in the *range, and I was sent three to try out.. Even though I am SLIGHTLY outside of the target age group, I really enjoyed the products. (When I say slightly I mean 4 years, that is slight, right?)
The Purifying Cleansing Gel is a pretty icy blue shade that leaves my skin feeling clean, but not stripped. So many cleansers targeted at this age group are drying and stripping, which causes more harm than good. I have been using this in the shower, and it removes impurities and remnants of makeup well, although I always go in with a balm or oil cleanser as my first cleanse.
The Hydrating Beauty Mist is probably my favourite of the bunch, it smells amazing, and leaves my skin refreshed and hydrated. It smells so good, it could be a perfume, but it doesn’t irritate my skin at all! It is great for midday spritzes especially when the weather warms up or after cleansing to add a boost of moisture to the skin. Although it doesn’t set makeup, it doesn’t really interfere with it either, so it can be used for an added bit of glow or to soften your makeup look after application. If you are specifically looking for a setting spray, check out my review of the Clarins one here.
Lastly, the Refreshing Hydrating Cream is a day cream to boost hydration and radiance. It is soft and silky but absorbs well and feels light on the skin. It leaves my dehydrated skin feeling comfortable and the texture reminds me a bit of the Hydra-Essential Silky Creme, which is one of my all time favourite moisturisers.
There is also a Relaxing Sleeping Mask in the range, and we all know how I adore sleeping masks!
