May Beauty Favourites + Empties

I truly thought I was going to get my May Beauty Favourites up last week, or at least early this week, but clearly I was wrong! I really wanted to get two posts up this week, but with Eid and the prep, who knows!

May Beauty Favourites

Two of my recent favourite lip products are the *Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in Plum and the Connie Transform Liquid Lipstick in Four Seasons. The Clarins Lip Balm is the perfect tinted lip treat, it is creamy, hydrating, offers lips a light wash of colour, and smells good enough to eat. The Four Seasons Lipstick is such a stunning colour, but what impresses me most is the formula. It is comfortable, non-drying, yet lasts for ages without flaking.

As for skincare favourites, I have this gorgeous melting cream from Theravine, the *Tri-Active Hydrating Night Cream and the super light sunscreen from Vichy, the UV Protect Anti Shine Cream. The Theravine Night Cream melts into the skin for a silky soft feeling, it hydrates and leaves my skin feeling comforted and supple. The Vichy Anti Shine Cream has the most amazing feel and texture, it never pills, and works so well under makeup. It isn’t greasy at all, and even on my tanned skin it never leaves a white cast.

Lastly, the Jasmine Daydream Candle from Heart & Home. I absolutely love this candle, from the scent to how it burns, it is true perfection! It burns so evenly, and fills the room with the most amazing Jasmine scent. When I light it, my mom asks me if it is one of my expensive candles, haha!

Speaking of candles, I have some candle empties this month too!

The Body Shop Spiced Apple and Vanilla Chai Scented Candles- I love the scent of both of these, but they burnt so so badly! As much I am tempted, I don’t think I will repurchase candles from The Body Shop.

Cotton On Cassis & Geranium and Spicy Wood & Vanilla Candles- I loved these, and I have already bought a few more candles from Cotton On which you can check out here.

Baylis & Harding Wild Blackberry & Apple Candle- I love the look of this candle, it burns pretty well, and the scent filled the room, I will repurchase when I need more candles. I still have a few other scents from this brand to try.

I adore the texture of the Clarins Instant Light balms, they honestly feel like a buttery balm, yet offer a stunning wash of colour.
I had some mini candles from Bayliss & Harding in that same fragrance, and it was so yum!
