June Beauty Favourites + Empties

Dare I say that I may be on time this month??? Before I get late again, here are my June Beauty Favourites and a few Empties! There is also a highlight on my Instagram with all of my empties from the last few months.

June Beauty Favourites

I am not a fan of Winter at all, but the Polynesian Island Tiare Perfume from The Body Shop brings me all of the Summer island feelings! I know I have said this before, but I wish it wasn’t discontinued!

Nuxe Reve de Miel

The air is so dry and cold at the moment, and my skin is quite dehydrated, so I have been drawn to products that keep my skin feeling comfortable, hydrated and nourished. The Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip Balm is nourishing and creamy, and although it was quite expensive this little tub lasts quite long! I mostly use it at night as it is quite thick, my lips are loving it! Another skin saver has been the REN Rose O¹² Moisture Defence Oil, I cannot even describe how much I am loving this! Firstly it smells divine, and makes my skincare routine feel so luxurious. It is so hydrating and nourishing but not greasy at all. The oil sinks right in, I have been using this both morning and night for about two months and have seen a reduction in my dehydration lines.

Lastly, I have two makeup items that make me look alive, when I am freezing cold and would just like to crawl back into bed. The bareMinerals Original Foundation SPF15 in Medium Beige is the perfect quick skin-perfector, I use a fluffy brush and just buff it into my skin, it evens out and gives slight coverage while leaving my skin looking like skin and even though it is a powder, it doesn’t leave me looking dry and shriveled. I also have the Catrice Luminizing Bronzer in New Bronze Age from the Lumination Limited Edition, which is still one of my favourite ranges. I have been using this as a blush and to warm my face, it gives skin a gorgeous sunkissed glow.

And now for some Empties:

*Nuxe 24HR Moisturising Body Lotion– I love the scent of everything Nuxe, and this is no different. I would repurchase!

*Dermaceutic Activ Retinol 0.5- I loved this, and would repurchase, although I would definitely go up to the 1%.

The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream- I love the scent of this, although it wasn’t that hydrating and I probably wouldn’t repurchase. I prefer the Hemp Hand Protector.

Stila Smudgestick- These are so underrated, I would definitely repurchase after I finish the million other eyeliners I have.

Beauty Empties

Philip Kingsley Moisture Balancing Shampoo and Conditioner- These didn’t do much for my hair, would not repurchase as they are not suited for dry hair.

Philip Kingsley Re Moisturizing Shampoo- This was okay, but I have tried way better shampoos so I would not repurchase.

*Pure Beginnings Hydrating Body Lotion- I love this, it is light and hydrating and I love the subtle scent. I would definitely repurchase!

I love the Nuxe lip balm. It’s so hydrating but I’d only ever use it during the A/W time when my lips get really dry x
