Dirty Works and Nails of the Day!

I bought the Sally Hansen Sugar Coat in Sour Apple a while ago, and hadn’t used it until yesterday. I have tried a few textured polishes, my favourite is still the LA Girl range. I find the Sally Hansen very gritty and rough, and it can look a bit messy. It looks better in real life, and has a matte type finish, although I wouldn’t buy this range again unfortunately.

For the accent nail I used the Essence nail art tip painter in Silver Surfer, it has a thin brush, and it was actually easier than I thought to do the chevron design.

I used Sparitual in Looking Glass for the silver nail. I love this colour, it is highly pigmented, and applies so smoothly.

I have been reading a lot about Dirty Works, and it is quite horrendous that I had not even tried it yet… So, I made a trip to Clicks and got a few products. And a polish that I have been after for a while!

Firstly, the packaging is so cute, similiar to Soap and Glory (but way way cheaper and easier to find!)

Secondly, for a UK brand they are very affordable!

I have only tried the foot butter, hand cream and body butter so far. I can’t really pick a favourite, because they are all quite impressive.

The hand cream has a light, unrecognisable scent, and is extremely moisturising!

The foot butter smells great, and is not as thick or sticky as some other foot products I have tried, it is also extremely moisturising.

The body butter isn’t as thick as The Body Shops, it is more like a cream I think, but smells great and is a great moisturiser. If you have extremely dry skin, this may not work for you. I like it for a summer moisturiser, but I think I will stick to a thicker body butter for winter.

I have been looking for Sinful polish in Cinderella for a while and I am so happy I finally found it, I will use it soon and post pictures, and I am sure you will then be looking for it too! 🙂
