As women we stress. Whether it is family, kids, relationships, work or health we are bound to find something to stress about, warranted or not. Imagine if we could take all of that stress and turn it into something positive, something productive, something beneficial. Well, today let me introduce you to the next best thing, the Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift.
The Stress Positive Eye Lift is a cooling creamy gel eye masque that energises the skin to reduce visible signs of stress. On application there is a slight tingling effect and my skin feels as if something is working, which I love. It minimises the appearance of puffiness and dark circles, increases skin luminosity, lifts the eye area and helps restore skin barrier integrity.
It contains a bunch of new innovative ingredients such as Wild Indigo Seed to brighten and visibly reduce under-eye circles, Sea Water Extract and Arctic Algae to counter the look of puffiness, a blend of Fermented Yeast and all time favourite Hyaluronic Acid to firm skin to help generate a lifting effect and lastly Bioactive Diglucosyl Gallic Acid works with your skin’s natural microbiome (microorganisms) to brighten and energise the eye area.
Using the cooling applicator, apply a small amount where you would usually apply eye cream, the amount above is too much, and could actually be used on both eyes. Then leave on for 3-5 minutes and gently massage any excess into the skin with your fingers. You could also tissue off, but why waste good product?
I use this in the mornings, but it can be used as needed for a quick boost or daily to minimise the effects of chronic eye fatigue. You could also apply it over your makeup for extra luminosity or even in-flight for tired eyes.
Below is a little how-to. There are two different applications, one to Lift and Energise and one to Brighten and De-Puff. You can also check out this video demonstration on how to use the Stress Positive Eye Lift.
