As I mentioned in my last post, I have split my Christmas Gift Guide 2019 into a couple of different posts, and today I will be chatting skincare. I have picks for different budgets, different needs and different skin concerns.
If all else fails get the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream! This cult favourite is a favourite for a reason. It can be used for everything from dry lips and cuticles to cuts and scrapes. There are a couple of other products in this range and all are amazing too!
Clinique always have the cutest mini skincare discovery sets, and the Moisture Surge Range is always a hit! I have not met a person who didn’t get on with it. Also, there is currently 25% off for Black Friday!
The next brand is the ultimate luxury, and I would be happy to get anything from them! The *Sensai Absolute Silk Cream and Micro Mousse Treatment hydrate the skin, but are so light yet velvety soft. There is also a gentle oud scent that I adore, but nothing too overpowering or irritating. There are also a few gift sets available from the brand at selected Dischem and Edgars stores.
Eve Lom, need I say more? This Gift Set contains a few classic products, including the gorgeous Cleanser.
Filorga, one of my favourite skincare brands have a few gift sets available for Christmas, and this *Optim-Eyes Set is perfect for any stressed out mom or dad with the Eye Cream and Lotion combo.
Dermalogica always have some great Christmas offerings, their last years advent calendars were amazing! This year my top picks would be the PowerBright TRx™ Treatment Kit and The Ultimate Cleanse and Glow Trio, both of which are currently on special.
I love removing makeup after a long day, it is a calming relaxing ritual for me, and with it I wipe away the days troubles. The GLOV *Makeup Remover is similiar to other makeup remover cloths in some ways, but so much better in other ways. Firstly it comes in a full kit with a cloth cleanser as well as a makeup corrector which fits on your finger to easily fix makeup mistakes, and lastly, it is in the shape of a mitten. I still prefer to remove my mascara with micellar water on a cotton pad, but adding water to GLOV removes everything so well, and I can then go in with a normal cleanser. This little travel kit is also really handy when travelling, I see you Honeymoon!
*OXY has launched two new products, and the Charcoal 3 in 1- Cleanse, Scrub and Mask is a hit. It isn’t drying or harsh, doesn’t scratch at the skin, but leaves the skin feeling cleansed and refined.
Lastly, can you ever go wrong with a face mask? From Sheet Masks to Sleeping Masks, it is always a great option, even as stocking fillers. I love both the Sephora Sleeping and Sheet Masks, they are great before an event. The Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask is lovely, and quite hyped up, so it will be a treat to receive. Lastly, the Elemis Superfood Vital Veggie Mask is loved by many for good reason, it soothes and brightens the skin, leaving skin feeling nourished and repaired.
And there you have my second Christmas Gift Guide 2019. Next up I have either makeup or fragrance, which do you prefer?
