The Bodyography Brand is very underrated in my opinion, they have an impressive range of makeup and skincare, and are cruelty-free! I hadn’t actually heard about their skincare range, and thought they only had makeup products, but I was wrong. I bought a few Bodyography products recently, and I have really enjoyed using them, so I obviously needed to share them with you!
Starting with skincare, I bought the Brightening & Balancing Toner and the Daily Cleanser.
The toner can be spritzed on a cotton pad and wiped over the face after cleansing, or spritzed directly onto the skin as a refreshing face mist, before makeup and throughout the day. Using this before makeup really hydrates and perks up my skin and gives it a healthy glow. It contains glycolic acid, which helps to keep skin radiant and bright thanks to its exfoliative properties!
When I first tried the cleanser I wasn’t too impressed, but after a while it grew on me. The cleanser is gentle while still removing makeup and dirt, although I think it is best used as part of a double-cleanse routine. It also contains glycolic acid for a gentle exfoliation, as well as soothing and oil-control properties.
I also bought two of the famous Electric Lip Slides, swatched above. Pulp Friction, a bright orange and Passion Sorbet a warm rose. I love love love these! They are so incredibly pigmented, and comfortable, with the feel of a lipstick, the shine of a gloss, and the longevity of a stain. They don’t last super long (as in matte liquid lipstick long, but definitely longer than a gloss), and start to fade into a wearable stain after a few hours. They are easily reapplied though, without any flaking! Passion Sorbet is my favourite, it is such a wearable shade. I love the doe-foot applicator, which allows for precise application and doesn’t pull out too much product, which means you won’t have any excess product on the applicator or on your lips.
