So, Spring is less than two weeks away, so today I am sharing A Nearly Spring Makeup Edit with you. Which means dewy, glossy and mostly nude makeup!
When it comes to a healthy dewy face, I have been loving the L’Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation. It is so light and luminous, but still provides good coverage. It isn’t as long lasting as a matte foundation, but the healthy glow it gives is worth it!
We all know the struggle of finding the right foundation shade, and then once we find it, come winter, it is too dark. Well, that’s where The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops come in. I have been using between a half and one drop of this to lighten my foundation, and I am happy to report that it doesn’t change the finish or texture of it.
I used to be a huge blurring primer fan, but for a while I haven’t been using a primer before foundation, and when I seldomly do, it will be a hydrating primer. The Laura Geller Spackle Hydrating Primer helps to hydrate the skin, plumping it up and reducing the look of my dehydration lines. It doesn’t exactly prolong the wear time of my makeup, but it certainly gives it a great base to work with.
Swatches from top-bottom:
The *Clarins Lipliner Pencil in Roseberry pairs so well under my nude lipsticks, giving them a bit more life. It is smooth and comfortable to wear, and makes my lipstick stick around more than usual. I love that it doesn’t dry out my lips or make them look wrinkly.
The Clarins *Joli Rouge Lipstick in Litchi is such a gorgeous shade, giving my lips an intense splash of hydrating colour. It is creamy and feels so silky on my lips, and it smells yummy! Although this is a creamy lipstick, it lasts pretty long and fades to a wearable stain. My one and only Clarins lipstick in Soft Berry was one of my favourites because of the comfort and pigment it brings, and now I think it might have been replaced by Litchi.
The Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Quarters has a weird creamy texture but dries to a powder with a satin finish. It blends seamlessly and lasts for ages, and doesn’t look powdery on the skin. The shade Quarters is a dusty coral and brightens up my cheeks perfectly.
The Palladio Tinted Lip Balm in Brownie is one of those purchases that I wasn’t sure of, but now I am so glad I got it! This is moisturising of course, since it is a lip balm, but it is also super pigmented!
And of course we can’t forget about the mani, the *L.O.V Cosmetics nail polish in Alluring Amethyst is a beautiful berry shade that is great for the in-between seasons. It is glossy and long lasting and comes in a super chic looking bottle.
Since Summer is around the corner I really have been trying to up my exercising. So when I was sent a pair of *Vasa Blå Blue Sudio earphones I was excited, since earphones are a must at the gym! These are wireless and can pair with any bluetooth compatible device, which means no annoying wires getting in the way while you exercise. I chose the blue pair, but they also come in a gorgeous rose gold and white! If you are in need of a pair of stylish premium earphones, you can use my code PRETTIFULBLOG15 to get 15% off here. (I don’t get any money from the sale)
Thanks for reading ladies! Do you have any Spring Makeup recommendations for me?
