November Beauty Favourites + Empties
Monday, 11 Dec 2017
Hi Ladies, it is time for my November Beauty Favourites! I also have a few empties to share with you, as well as a little life update that explains why I have been so scarce.
The Physician’s Formula Argan Wear BB Cream was a favourite of mine a while ago, and then I forgot about it! But after using it again, I remember why I loved it! It is light, but offers quite good coverage, and works well on my dehydrated skin. It also has an spf of 30, and who doesn’t need some extra coverage!
Next up I have a few swatches, from Top-Bottom:
When I first tried the NYX Professional Makeup Blush in Sand, I thought this would never work as a blush, and actually put it in my eyeshadow draw. But I pulled it out again recently and gave it another try and I was blown away! It is such a pretty summer blush shade for bronze, glowing, sunkissed cheeks.
The *Kelso Colour Chubby Stick in Oh Snap is stunning! A bright orange super-pigmented lip colour that I will be wearing the whole of summer!
I also have two other lip products that are each very pretty, but together are AMAZING!
The AVON Ultra Glimmerstick Lip Liner in True Red is very pigmented and non-drying on the lips.
The essence matt matt matt Lipgloss in Beauty Approved is a pretty nude lipgloss with a velvet matte finish.
And the last swatch is the essence Lipgloss over the AVON Lip Liner, how beautiful is it? And the combo is super long lasting without being drying or uncomfortable!
Next up I have some empties:
The lovely Spalicious Lemongrass & Eucalyptus Butter.
The Human + Kind Family Remedy Cream which is one of my winter must-haves!
The Philip Kingsley No Scent No Colour Conditioner was okay, but not something I would repurchase.
What will I do without my Dermaceutic Regenceutic! This is a post-treatment saviour!
I quite liked the Dove DermaSpa Cream, I may repurchase it after I finish the dozens of other body creams I have!
The Dr. Dennis Gross Peel was a bit disappointing for me, although I may repurchase and try and rub harder as recommended by Siobhán from Beautylymin,
The two hand creams were nice, not super-moisturising, but good enough to keep around in my bag.
The bhave Rescue Shampoo and Conditioner were good for dry and damaged hair.
The essence perfume and eyeliner were lovely! Two of my favourite products, but unfortunately were part of a limited edition!
The Freeman Sleeping Mask is really lovely, and definitely something I will repurchase!
Now for a little life update. My gran who was 95 years old passed away on Monday the 4th December. I am trying to cope, and trying to let go, but I am finding it extremely difficult. I feel empty and haven’t quite dealt with her not being around anymore. We were really close, and had an amazing relationship, and I am going to miss her dearly. I have just returned to work today, and will be catching up on my work as well as some blogging soon.
Thanks for reading ladies!
