Are you wondering what is inside the *Retail Box Secret Box 30? Well, a Shampoo, Conditioner and Treatment to hydrate dry and damaged locks.

 The box contains an Indola Innova Hydrate Pack worth more than R500. The box was sold for R300, so that is definitely a bargain, but how do the products stack up?

Indola Innova Hydrate Shampoo is a very light and gentle shampoo. It contains bamboo extract, sweet almond oil and provitamin B5 which work together to hydrate hair. It cleansed well without leaving my hair feeling stripped. It isn’t very thick and rich, so it doesn’t weigh the hair down.

Indola Innova Hydrate Bi-Phase Conditioner is a leave-in conditioner that contains most of  the same ingredients as the shampoo, but with additional ingredients such as hydrolysed wheat protein. I like that it can be used on towel dried or dry hair to soften and moisturise hair and prevent dehydration. I love the idea of a leave-in spray conditioner, but I do feel that my hair needs a normal in-shower conditioner too. The conditioner is easy to use, helps detangle hair, and is great way to condition hair when you are in a rush.

Indola Innova Hydrate Light Treatment contains bamboo milk and works deep into the hair shaft where it restores the natural moisture balance. This treatment is meant to be applied weekly on towel dried hair, left on for 5 minutes, and then rinsed off. But, I am loving this as an in-shower conditioner. Because I don’t wash my hair every day and my hair is pretty thick and dry, this treatment is perfect as a conditioner, just apply to washed hair, clip your hair up for 5 minutes and then rinse off. If you wash your hair every day or if you have very fine hair I wouldn’t use this as an every day in-shower conditioner, rather use it once a week or as your hair needs it.

I like this range, but I wish it had an in-shower conditioner. I feel that my thick hair needs a bit more hydration. But, if you supplement this range with another in-shower conditioner or use the treatment as a conditioner it is amazing. This is a perfect on the go range, shampoo in the shower, then spray conditioner and go, great when you are in a rush. I think this range would be perfect for dehydrated and dry fine hair that is easily weighed down by conditioner and other moisturising products.
