Today I am sharing a few Treats for your feet from Sorbet. Sorbet is a salon brand that has grown massively in the last few years, and more recently has been releasing affordable at-home products to give you that spa-feel. They have also just introduced an exciting makeup range that will be available in March.
I was sent a few *Pedi-Care products to try out a while ago, and MOST of them impressed me.
Let’s start with my favourite of the lot, the Intensive Foot Serum. This serum can be used alone or under a foot cream, as you would a face serum. I have been using this pretty consistently and can definitely notice a difference in the softness of my heels. It isn’t greasy, although it has a slight tacky feel on application, but that doesn’t last long. The only issue I have with this is that the bottle doesn’t last very long, especially when used every day.
The Cooling Foot Spray is very refreshing, and has a pleasant scent. Although it is not something I would use that often, it sure does help in this hot weather to cool down tired hot feet. I think this would be a dream for anyone who suffers from swollen feet.
The one I had the most hope for, and the one that unfortunately didn’t do as much as I expected, is the Foot Peel Duo Kit. I am quite fond of foot peels, and usually use the bootie ones, which work quite well and I love to actually see my skin flaking and peeling within a week. The major thing that got to me with this one, is the effort required. You need to apply Step 1 on cotton wool and then apply the soaked cotton wool to dry areas of the feet, and then wrap in clingfilm for up to 20 minutes. This definitely gives me the spa experience, however doing it myself doesn’t feel as nice! Next you use the scraper to scrape off the peeled dry skin, which for me, was nothing, which was disappointing. You then use the pumice to buff, apply Step 2 which is a neutraliser, and then apply a foot cream or balm. My skin definitely looked and felt softer and smoother after using this, but I expected more of a peel, I expected something to flake off when I used the scraper, but unfortunately nothing. I will try and use it again because it did make my feet softer, perhaps without the cotton wool and clingwrap this time, and hopefully get better results without so much of an effort.
The 4-in-1 Pedi Kit is such a relaxing treat for a Sunday afternoon. It contains a Soak, Mask, Scrub and Moisturising Souffle. I love how easy to use this is, and that it comes in one do it all set. The Souffle and Scrub are my favourites from this kit.
Have you tried any of these products from Sorbet?
