There are a few things to remember when using Gumtree:
Never go alone to meet anyone or to see anything. Always take someone with, preferably someone scary looking 🙂
If something looks too good to be true, it probably is, Louboutins for R200… Fake…
Trust your instincts, if something feels dodgy, give it a skip
Also, if you are buying anything ‘designer’, make sure you get some sort of authenticity certificate
