When I was asked by SLS Organics if I was interested in trying out a few of their products, the first thing that caught my eye were the gorgeous soaps and affordable prices. I also love trying out Proudly South African products, and supporting local!
The *Facial Bar (R40) comes in three different variants, and I was sent the Activated Charcoal & Vanilla and the Sandalwood & Turmeric. The latter smells amazing! I find facial bars too harsh for my face, but I really love using these on my hands and body. They lather up well, don’t dry out the skin and look so pretty on a bathroom counter!
I expected the *Shea Butter Moisturiser (R60) to be quite thick and greasy, but it was actually very lightweight. It has a very delicate scent, and I like that there is an option for both dry and oily skin. Next up is the *Toner (R60) which comes in an easy to use spray bottle. It doesn’t look like they have the Rooibos one online anymore, or perhaps they are out of stock. I found this toner quite hydrating, and although I am not a huge fan of toning (since I double cleanse) a light misting of this after cleansing soothed my skin and prepared it nicely for moisturising.
