March Beauty Favourites + Empties

Wow, I didn’t realise that it has been two weeks since I last posted here! Work has been hectic, life has been hectic, but great, and there are so many updates that I will share with you all soon!

My March Beauty Favourites are a lovely mixed bunch of new and rediscovered products.

March Beauty Favourites

First up I have the *Jessica Cosmetics Brilliance Top Coat, I love how quickly this dries, it is dry to the touch within minutes. The finish is glossy and shiny, and most of all it is long-lasting, I can get about seven days wear when I use this as a top coat.

New to the country, is Burt’s Bees, finally! I have been trying out a few of their products, and my favourite by far is the *Vanilla Bean Lip Balm. It smells lovely, and is so hydrating and nourishing. The best part is that it doesn’t just coat the lips, but actually moisturises!

I also have a few rediscovered products:

The Bobbi Brown Face Touch-Up Palette is a travel friendly and convenient compact, with a Corrector, Concealer, Skin Foundation Stick and Sheer Finish Pressed Powder. It is just so handy!

Next up, one of my most used powders is the MAC Prep + Prime CC Powder, which I love to use under my eyes. It doesn’t crease, and helps to brighten the area.

Lastly I have a new lippie from Focallure, a brand that is new to me. I love the burnt coral shade called Smokey Carmine. Although this is described as matte, I don’t think it is, but I do love it anyway.

And now for some Empties:

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads- I do like these, although I find them quite gentle for me, so I wouldn’t repurchase, and would rather invest in a stronger strength pad.

The Body Shop Hawaiian Kukui Candle– This is not even empty, but it doesn’t burn properly, and I just gave up on it, I would definitely not repurchase.

The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose Body Lotion- The scent of this is quite intense, and it doesn’t smell the same as the lovely perfume. The lotion also isn’t very hydrating, I much prefer a body butter, so I won’t repurchase.

First Aid Beauty Deep Cleanser- I like this cleanser, it was gentle, but still offered a deep clean, I am not sure if I would repurchase though.

Bourjois Nail Polish Remover- I adore this so much, but I haven’t been able to find it again! I would repurchase if I could find it!

Apothecary Cinnamon & Apple Scented Candle- I like this candle, although I found it hard to light it towards the end. The scent is nice, and I love the bottle, but I wouldn’t repurchase.

Fennel Peach Vanilla Body Butter- I think Fennel Body Butters are underrated, their scents are so good, and they are nourishing, I would definitely repurchase.
