Happy Monday Ladies!

The Essie Winter Collection is currently in store, and it is a goodie! A while ago I attended the Essie launch and was gifted with an amazing box with most of this years collections, you can read about that here.

I thought to myself that the winter collection is far from wintery! Think coral, gold and a stunning pearl. Nevertheless it did help to brighten the cold dark days, and will be just as suited for the bright summer days coming soon… I hope.

There are six shades in the collection:

Tuck It In My Tux – silken ivory crème
Back In The Limo – sheer ripe melon
Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Low – molten gold
Tart Deco – dreamy coral with an artistic burst of color
Double Breasted Jacket – passionate tourmaline ruby
Jump In My Jumpsuit – jubilant juicy red

For today’s Mani I used four of the six shades, four of the best in my opinion!

I used Tuck It In My Tux as a base coat. It is a bit sheer and streaky at first, and needed a good three coats, while still showing a bit of my nail line through. But once you get through the mission of applying all the coats it is a stunning pearly white. Elegant and sophisticated.

I then added stripes of Tart Deco, Jump In My Jumpsuit and Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Low. All three of these are highly pigmented, and you can get away with one thick coat or two thin coats.
