A while ago we were introduced to these stunning Eyeshadow Palettes by LA Girl, however stock ran out pretty fast, and many of us, me included didn’t get our hands on them! But, I have good news, Dischem has stock again. The Nude Palette is apparently an almost exact dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. I picked up the Nudes and Smoky Palettes, and at R70 each, these are definitely worth it!
There is also a collection of Beauty Brick Blush Palettes, which are equally amazing! Unfortunately they didn’t have testers, but I bought Glow, Spice and Glam. For R70 these look promising!
There is also a new Matte Lip Collection, which is super pigmented! I bought three of these. There are sixteen shades in total, and it was hard to choose, but I finally settled on three, Bazaar, Dreamy and Iconic. These are R60 each.
LA Girl is a great brand, affordable and of great quality. I personally love their concealer and the glazed lip paint, which I featured in my July Favourites here.
Also, Dischem currently has a 3 for 2 special on all three of these LA Girl ranges, so pick three and the cheapest is free.

I was looking for some nude eye shadows but some are so expensive I can’t justify spending that much. So when I came across this palette I decided to give it a try and wow I am so happy with my purchase! This palette is so pretty and the shadow is so smooth and easy to apply. I will definitely be buying more L.A. Girl products
Yup the palettes are really amazing for the price!

Hi, I am DESPERATELY looking for L.A. Girl Semi-Permanent Auto Lip Liner, GP333 Natural. Please let me know where I can find this colour? Cant wait to hear from you 🙂
Hi, thanks for your email. Your best bet would be to try your local Dischem. And if they don’t have it, ask them to check on their system to see which other store has it.
I am struggling to get the LA Girl pressed powder (Perfect Tan) at all the Dischems I have visited. They keep on telling me they are out of stock
Please advise where I can obtain in the Alberton area
Hey, hope you managed to get hold of the call centre.

Thank you – I’ll do that 🙂
Hope you managed to get it!
I did …. and some other LA Girl lips and concealers – Thank you 🙂
On Sunday I went to dischem and managed to get my hands on 2 eye shadow pallets, the Smokey and the ultra aswell as the glow beauty brick – I was over the moon as ive been trying to find these every where 🙂 then when I went to pay the cashier told me they have a special running , if you buy 3 you only pay for 2 – I was even happier !! these eye shadow pallets are amazing! it is so pigmented and has lasted on my eyes all day! I definitely going back for the nude pallete once they have stock again!
I know, the special is awesome! It seems as if these palettes are being restocked at every Dischem Beauty Fair. I haven’t tried them yet, I am really excited about the blush palettes, they look amazing. I was a bit disappointed by the previous contour palettes, so I am hoping these will be better!
I want that Nude Brick, lippies and concealer BUT I will only be able to drive through to my nearest branch on Sunday. Can we buy this online? Sunday will be way to late 🙁
As far as I know they aren’t available online, but perhaps check Dischem.co.za or else give them a call. Or, give your local Dischem a call and check if they have stock and ask them to keep it for you. The concealer will definitely be there, it is a permanent product. And the lip product stand was quite full when I went to my Dischem, so I am sure you will find some. Especially since there are 16 shades. The nude brick is probably the most wanted product, so try and call to keep one aside for you 🙂
I think Dischem will lead me into bankruptcy 🙁 i didnt get to see the Beauty Bricks they were sold out.. but i also bought the matte lippies- Playful and Backstage. Tried Backstage today very beautiful colour but sticky and hard to come off… looking forward to your thoughts on the beauty bricks 😉
Oh no, last time I searched so many different Dischems to try and find them. Hopefully they see the demand and bring them back 🙂
When I tried them on my hand they also wouldn’t come off!
It seems as if they are bringing them in during the Beauty Fair, so keep an eye out for the beauty fairs. 🙂
