Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Care

Hi Ladies

The Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Care Line will be launching in South Africa next month.

Ultimate Blends is created from natural ingredients using precious lightweight oils and natural extracts  and combined in gentle and paraben free formulas to care for your hair.

The line will include shampoos, conditioners, masks and a serum. There will be five variants available in South Africa, for different hair types, ranging from colour-treated to very dry hair.

Garnier Ultimate Blends South Africa

I received the Honey Treasures Strength Restorer Shampoo, Conditioner and Serum, which is specifically designed for fragile hair prone to breakage. I can’t say I have fragile hair, my hair is more dry and frizzy, but either way it loved the serum! I applied it to both wet and dry hair, and I much prefer using it on dry hair. I really didn’t notice a difference when using it on wet hair, and I much prefer my hair oils for that. But on dry hair it added moisture and softness and a faint but yummy scent. First impressions of the shampoo and conditioner; I love the scent, I prefer the conditioner to the shampoo, it is a very rich and nourishing conditioner and leaves my hair feeling great, but overall I don’t think this range is a good match for my hair, well except for the serum, which I think all hair types will benefit from. But if you have fragile hair prone to breakage, then keep your eye on the shelves for these.

I also received the Shine Revitaliser Shampoo and Conditioner for normal hair, with Green Tea and Lemon to revitalise the shine in your hair. I absolutely love the fresh scent of this range! This range is the only one that doesn’t include a mask, but you can include a mask from another range to give your hair that extra bit of love. This is a great range for those without any major hair issues, it cleans well without stripping the hair, smells so fresh and invigorating and it really does leave hair shiny, light and bouncy.

There is also an Avocado Oil and Shea Butter Range for very dry and damaged hair, a Cranberry and Argan Oil Range for colour treated hair and a Cocount Oil and Cocoa Butter Range for dry and frizzy hair.

This Hair Care Line is ridiculously affordable, the big 400ml bottle is only R69.95, and the 250ml bottle is only R39.95. Unbelievable that a quality hair care line is this affordable!

I am soooo dissapointed… I have very dry, brittle, coarse hair that one can use as a weapon to hurt someone’s skin badly.

I doscovered Garnier Colour Sensation Hair colour which works very well on my hair and now I can’t seem to get it ANYWHERE….. The lady at the Hub Chatsworth and the other lady at Game West Street, said that they are discontinuing this one . PLEASE HELP. MY Hair needs it so badly.

Hi there! could you perhaps advise if Garnier Ultimate Blends are sulfate free?

Hi Kimber-Lee, nope unfortunately they are not… They are paraben free though. 🙂

Well, the Shampoo isn’t sulphate free, but I think the Conditioner and Treatments are, it would be best to check the ingredient list in store though 🙂
