Dermalogica Age Smart Range review

The Multivitamin Hand and Nail Treatment (15ml) is your perfect handbag companion for non-greasy repair and relief. Smooth this non-greasy, fast-absorbing treatment over hands and nails daily to help hydrate, minimize nail peeling, and shield against environmental damage.

The Multivitamin Power Serum (7ml) is a microencapsulated vitamin serum. Microencapsulated vitamins A, C and E penetrate deep into skin damage, helping to decrease fine lines and hyperpigmentation (age spots) while stimulating collagen formation to help decrease sun-induced aging in skin.

The Multivitamin Thermafoliant (15ml) is a heat activated scrub. Thermal skin exfoliant infuses skin with age-fighting ingredients. This powerful skin polisher combines physical and chemical exfoliants to refine skin texture, enhance penetration of age-fighting vitamins into skin, and reveal smoother, fresher skin immediately.

The little sachet of Multivitamin Power Firm is a smoothing vitamin complex. Helps to accelerate skin’s natural repair process with Vitamin A (Retinol), as antioxidant vitamins C and E improve elasticity while scavenging free radicals.

Use sun screen no matter if the sun is out or not – during the Winter months, it is even more imperative to keep skin moisturized and protected from the sun’s harsh UV rays 🙂

Since Winter is the driest season, it is essential to keep hydrated and to keep skin moisturised! Dry skin can be problematic and can act up in winter! Regularly exfoliating to get rid of dead skin and regularly moisturising is a must!

  6. Kate

Still keep exfoliating and using a hydrating masque. Makes such a difference!

  15. Jyothi Laldas

Add a few drops of oil (plant based is best) – I just use my Nivea Firming Body Oil – to your daily body lotion for some extra TLC in the winter time.

  16. Sharleen

I exfoliate twice a week with Dermologica as it rescues my winter skin

  17. Carmen van Leeve

These products sounds amazing! I specifically am interested in the Serum as it mentions hyperpigmentation and that is one of things I am trying to sort out.

Winter tip:Slather on the Sunscreen-No, sunscreen isn’t just for summertime. Winter sun –combined with wind, can still damage your skin. Try applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen to your face and your hands (if they’re exposed) about 30 minutes before going outside. Reapply frequently if you stay outside a long time.

I use Moisturizers and UV protection a during winter to protect against dehydration. I switch to a richer formula as weather cools and central heating takes its toll. . Winter Sun damage is the number one contributor to this sign of aging, so I always wear sunscreen! I adjust my cleansing routine. The skin care routine I use in the summer won’t serve me in the winter. I shift to a lighter cleanser. Extreme weather can weaken the skin’s protective barrier, so I want to avoid intensive cleansing that will further strip my skin of natural protection. I use gentle cleansing milks or mild, foaming cleansers. I avoid alcohol-based cleansers, which will strip away my skin’s natural oils, resulting in dry, irritated skin. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. During winter, we need heavier moisturizers to repair the damage done by extremely dry weather and protect our skin from further dryness

Never tried dermologica so would love to give it a try ! My ultimate tip – give your skin some TLC weekly with a mosturising mask and moisturise your face every night and day .

Winter seems to have hit early and hit hard this year. Dry flaky skin can be hard to restore, avoid getting to that point. My tips are :
: Resist using extra hot water on your skin as it strips away the natural oils
: keep a rich moisturiser in the bathroom to apply right after towel drying .It locks in the moisture and it’s quicker & more pleasant to massage into your skin.
: Keep hydrated..1 cup of water for every coffee/tea cup u drink

    Stay warm and happy 🙂

My winter skincare tip is to always exfoliate to get rid of all that dry dead skin and then moisturise with cream. I use epimax plus as it helps prevent eczema flare ups and it is also very moisturising.

    Appreciate this giveaway

Thanks 4 the review Azraa… at the moment my winter skin saver- i use coconut oil wit a few drops of tea tree oil as my every night moisturiser. Keeps my skin smooth and helps when im breaking out.
Fingers crossed for the conpetition xo

Before bed, seal your moisturiser in with a layer of vaseline. Simply rinse off in the morning. Works well for dry and chapped lips too =)

  26. Jasmine Ho

Use overnight hydration mask before you go to sleep. It works better than overapplying layers of skin care products.

  27. Cornell Botha

Always smooth lotion on damp skin.

  28. Sophia

My best tip is to gently exfoliate your skin during Winter to remove the build up of dead skin cells

  29. R Fourie

My winter skincare tip: drink lots of water and use a rich, effective season moisturizer – hydrating all the way 🙂
