I love a good Nude Matte Lipstick, and I have realised that finding one with the perfect shade, undertone and formula is not that easy! So, today I thought I would share my thoughts on a few that I have been trying out recently.

Colourpop Lux Lipstick Matte in Name Drop- The formula of this lipstick is comfortable and non-drying, but the shade is a bit too light for me.

Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick in 1995- I love everything about this lipstick, the formula, shade, finish, it is just perfect!

MAC Matte Lipstick in Whirl- Again, adore this! It looks a bit more brown in the swatch than it actually is, I totally get why this is a cult favourite. Long lasting, comfortable, and a perfect nude shade!

Caked Makeup Lip Fondant in Low Key- This was my first Caked Makeup product, and I am impressed. The shade is a bit more on the pinky side of nude, but gorgeous and most importantly comfortable.

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Androgyny- This is my third shade of JS Liquid Lipsticks, and my favourite by far. The formula is amazing, and this mauve shade is a winner for me!

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in So Me- This one is a miss for me, just because the shade is too much of a cool-toned brown, and it looks terrible on me. I like the formula though, it is comfortable and doesn’t crack or make my lips look weird.

I do also have a couple of old favourites that I rely on often; NYX Soft Spoken and Stockholm, MAC Nude Fudge, OFRA Charmed, Gerard Cosmetics Serenity and Colourpop Clueless.
